Dmitry was a coach of our club for a long time and made MGIMO DC great!

Dimitry will lead an argumentation session with a focus on impact and weighing that will last approximately one hour, followed by a debate round in the British Parliamentary format.

The meeting will be held online, but we'll be waiting for MGIMO students who are more comfortable offline in room 4147.

❕Online practice round❕
On Saturday, October 15 at 17.00 (GMT+3), a practical round will be held online.

The round will be judged by Anna Chaltseva - finalist of many international tournaments, former head of the MGIMO Debate Club. The motion will be improvised, so you will have 15 minutes to prepare your speech.

The presentation of the MGIMO Debate Club took place on Friday, October 7th in offline format.

At the beginning of the presentation, the Head of the club spoke about the rules and formats of the debate, and also presented goals for the next semester and year.

After a small workshop on format, a debate round was held on the motion: THR the existence of the idea that romantic love is the main purpose of a person's life.

MGIMO Debate club is back and ready to open the debating season!

We are a community of people striving to improve our public speaking, analytical skills, and professional spoken English. If you want to develop in this field and join the international debating community, come to our presentation and learn how to do it!
