At Britannia English Camp, we don’t just learn about animals — we paint them, draw them, and build them too! 🐘🖌️🦒
During our first week of camp, our oldest students brought the animal world to life through:
🎨 Colourful paintings
✏️ Detailed drawings
🧱 3D models full of imagination
And the best part? 🗣️ They’re doing it all in English — learning animal names, describing features, and talking about their creations with confidence and joy.
At Britannia, art isn’t just creative — it’s a powerful tool for language learning. 💬❤️ This is why program is so effective!

✨ Art Week at Britannia! ✨🖌️
Last week was a masterpiece of creativity at Britannia! 🎨🧒👧
Our little artists explored the magical world of colour, texture, and imagination during Art Week — and what a joyful mess we made! 😄
From painting with brushes (and fingers!) to creating nature-inspired collages and even trying some Jackson Pollock-style splatter art, our children were fully immersed in the language of art — and English too! 🇬🇧💬
Art Week is more than just fun — it’s a beautiful way for children to:
🌟 Express emotions
🌟 Build fine motor skills
🌟 Learn new English words through play (like “drip”, “dot”, “smudge”, and “swirl”!)
🌟 Grow in confidence as creators
Thank you to our wonderful teachers and curious young minds who brought so much colour and creativity to the week. Swipe to see our favourite mini masterpieces! 🖼️💕

🌿 Water play, nature hunts, outdoor story area, bike and scooter area open-ended games…
🎨 Learning still happens—it just looks a lot like fun.

🎨 Exploring Circles with Kandinsky! 🟣🟡🔵
Our primary students have been diving into the colourful world of artist Wassily Kandinsky — a master of abstract art and shape exploration. After studying his iconic circle paintings, the children created their own vibrant masterpieces using colour, pattern, and imagination! ✨
🖌️ Why Kandinsky? Learning about artists like him helps our students:
✅ Understand colour theory
✅ Explore shapes and patterns
✅ Express themselves creatively
✅ Build vocabulary in English through art discussions
We love seeing how each child interprets the same
inspiration in their own unique way 💛👏

Can you name minibeasts in English?
This term, our reception students have loved learning about the topic of minibeasts. They learnt the names of common minibeasts you can find in the garden such as “worm, bee, caterpillar, spider etc”, where they live and what they eat. The best part in was all done in a playful manner 🇬🇧
We will cover minibeasts as a topic at our summer camp, come and joint the fun!
