Who can participate?

Foreign citizens or stateless persons, including compatriots living abroad, who confirm the presence of a previous level of education or its completion in 2026, depending on the chosen track:
• Bachelor's degree - completed secondary education;
• Master's degree - a level of higher education no lower than a Bachelor's degree;
• Postgraduate studies (PhD) - a level of higher education no lower than a Master's or Specialist degree;
• For participation in the postdoctoral track, a PhD or Candidate/Doctor of Sciences degree is required.

The club's history is legendary – it kicked off in 1975 when MIEM's first rector, Evgeny Armenakiy, launched a yacht school that evolved into a full-blown student club. Post-MIEM-HSE merger, it became the go-to Yacht Club for the whole Vyshka. Their signature? Regular expeditions, like the iconic Moscow-St. Petersburg route, and that jaw-dropping 2005 voyage straight to Helsinki! 🚀🏝️

Hey everyone! 🌟 Just wanted to share some vibes from the orientation sessions for international students that happened on August 26 & 27 at the HSE Cultural Center. As a senior here, it’s awesome to see 1,260 new international students joining us this year – 644 bachelors and 616 masters! 🎓🌍

They got to tour the Pokrovka campus and even check out some cool Moscow landmarks – such a great way to get settled! 🏛️🗺️ The orientation, run by the Internationalisation team, really helps newcomers get familiar with the uni, Russian migration rules, and what student life at HSE is all about. 📚✨

Vice-Rector Victoria Panova gave an inspiring speech reminding everyone that getting here wasn’t easy – out of 12,000+ applicants, they made it! 🙌 She said this is just the beginning, and the hard work and exciting times are ahead. Hey everyone! 🚀✨ Just found out about this AMAZING event happening in Moscow from August 1 to September 14 – the "Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030" forum-festival! It's going to be a massive space for tech, science, and innovation, showcasing the coolest developments in medicine, space, and the digital economy! 🤖🌌

And guess what? Our very own HSE Art and Design School is representing with not one, but TWO mind-blowing grad projects from their Industrial Design program! 🎓💡

First up: "Ance" by Egor Ugrimov – a high-tech device that uses ultraviolet light to neutralize pathogens in donated blood! 🩸💉 The design is so sleek and minimalist, with smooth curves and smart ergonomics that make it perfect for modern medical spaces. So futuristic! 👨‍⚕️🔬

And then there's "Belka" (which means squirrel! 🐿️) – the first Russian autonomous flying robot designed to work in zero gravity ON the International Space Station! 🛰️🌠 This epic project was designed by Anastasia Kogteva and created with support from RKK Energia, MSU, and the MSU Mechanics Research Institute. How cool is that?! 🎉🤩

Hey everyone! 🌟 Just wrapped up an amazing week at the International Summer School on "Digital Product Management," a cool project by the Graduate School of Business at HSE and Alfa-Bank! 🎓💼 We had over 30 students from top universities in China joining us! 🇨🇳🤝

Throughout the week, our guests dived into key trends in the digital economy, learned about product management tools, and even worked on real service solutions! 🚀 The academic track was packed with lectures from HSE professors about the Russian economy, Russian-Chinese business ties, digital transformation, and IT trends for 2025. Plus, they got insights from experts at Alfa-Bank, a leader in fintech and AI! 💡🤖

But it wasn't all lectures — students kicked things off with a two-day design sprint at Alfa-Bank’s research center, where they created digital services for Chinese users in Russia. They interviewed users, brainstormed ideas, prototyped, and tested our solutions! 🛠️💬 Then, back at the business school, refined the prototypes and worked on the financial aspects of our digital products.

At the end of the week, each team presented their projects to an expert panel! 🎉 Everyone received certificates from HSE and Alfa-Bank for completing the program.🌍✨
