The Opera & Drama Studio of Ivan Popovski with graduates and students of the GITIS Musical Theatre Faculty, premieres Diary of a Madman. GITIS has just completed an educational programme across West Africa — in Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal.
In Abidjan, our first-ever GITIS workshop series brought senior INSAAC students and CNAC actors together for intensive training in acting, movement and speech — the first introduction to the Russian theatre school for many local artists. Meanwhile in Dakar, the GITIS Choreography Faculty carried out a full creative residency.
Two countries, two vibrant artistic communities — and one shared goal: building long-term cultural collaboration with the countries of West Africa.
