Fellowship in Russia: Nuclear Technologies 2026 🇷🇺⚛️

Applications are now open for the InterRussia Fellowship in Nuclear Technologies, taking place November 2–29, 2026 in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Obninsk.
The program brings together young nuclear technology professionals from around the world for an immersive experience covering Russian nuclear technologies, sustainable development, economics, strategic planning, and education. Participants will visit leading Russian nuclear industry enterprises, meet experts, and gain practical insights through interactive sessions.

🎓 Eligibility: foreign citizens, ages 21–40, living outside Russia, with B2+ English proficiency and a professional background in nuclear technologies.

✈️ Covered by organizers: travel, accommodation, and a 30,000 RUB stipend.

📅 Application deadline: August 23, 2026, 23:59 (Moscow time)

Today marks the beginning of the International Summer School on Radiochemistry (ISSR-2026) focused on "Non-power applications of nuclear science and technology," co-organized by ROSATOM and Lomonosov Moscow State University!

We are super excited to share that our RNEA Ambassadors — Lennox, Ivy, Natalia, and Hagar — are actively participating in this high-level international program! 🎓✨

Over the next 10 days, they will explore cutting-edge topics at the forefront of modern science:

On July 31st, during the graduation ceremony for international students at Lobachevsky State University (UNN), our RNEA Ambassador Andrew delivered an unforgettable performance with the "UNN Voices" group! 🎓✨

The ensemble presented three wonderful songs, featuring a truly historic highlight: "The Hills of Nizhny Novgorod" a touching anthem composed by Andrew and Egor. This moving piece holds a special distinction as the first ever anthem adopted by the university! 🎼❤️

We are proud to share that Ms. Rothana Serey HOR, a member of the Russian Nuclear Education Ambassador (RNEA) program, was invited as a speaker at the Public Seminar held on 25 July 2026 at the National University of Management (International Campus).

During the seminar, she delivered an inspiring presentation titled “The Future Leader: Combining Human Values, Scientific Thinking, and Digital Intelligence”, contributing to the event’s theme: “Leadership in the Digital Transformation: Empowering Gen Z through Consciousness Development and Quality Education.”

Drawing on her experience as a nuclear researcher, Ms. Rothana shared valuable insights on the importance of combining scientific thinking, ethical values, and digital intelligence to prepare the next generation of leaders for the rapidly evolving AI era.

We are proud to highlight our RNEA Ambassador, Zufarov Bekhroz, who successfully participated in the 5th Joint ICTP–IAEA Workshop on Physics and Technology of Innovative Nuclear Energy Systems, held from 13–17 July 2026 at the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Trieste, Italy.

Jointly organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and ICTP, this prestigious international workshop brought together researchers, engineers, and students from around the world to explore the latest advancements in innovative nuclear energy systems.

During the workshop, participants gained advanced knowledge on:
🔹 Next-generation nuclear reactor technologies
🔹 Advanced nuclear fuel cycle concepts
🔹 Reactor physics and safety analysis
🔹 Sustainable nuclear energy strategies for future electricity generation

Today, we are bursting with pride as we celebrate one of our very first ambassadors, Robert from Kenya. After completing his bachelor’s degree, he has now successfully earned his Master’s degree in High Energy Physics at NRNU MEPhI, and is being honored with a prestigious Rector’s Commendation as one of the university’s top graduates! 🏅
