Greetings to all!

As you start your day, put on the full 'Armour of God' so that you can stand against all the devil's schemes:

1. The helmet of Salvation;
2. The Breastplate of Righteousness;
3. The Shield of Faith extended;
4. The belt of Truth;
5. Your feet to carry the Gospel of Peace; and
6. The Sword of Spirit, which is the Word of God of which you shall use to pierce the enemy.

Ephesians 6:10-19.

Do we believe in our prayers? How come then we keep on repeating the same prayers if we believe God has heard and answered us? Why do we keep murmuring and complaining about same issues we have given to God? Are our prayers accompanied by faith or prayer has become a mere habit we grew accustomed to, and as such is practised as religion is?

Acts 12:5-17

When the Church of Christ was under attack by Herod, John was beheaded and Peter was later imprisoned. We also get to learn that while Peter was in prison awaiting his fate in the hands of Herod, the church offered constant prayer for him to God. Little did they know that their prayers ascended to God like an incense.

Consider this analogy:

You have been invited to special event and preparing yourself to be on time. You to take a shower and later proceed to your closet where you pick the best available outfit you have. As you put the outfit on, you reach out to one of your drawers take a bottle of a sweet smelling perfume to put on. Now you are amidst of attendees at this special occasion. Everyone of them that comes in contact with you, complement you and remark about the sweet aroma that fills the place. How is that going to make you feel? Appreciated definitely! That's exactly what prayers of the saints does to God - Revelations 5:8.

Astonishing as it may be, the church that offered prayers for Peter lacked faith in their prayers. I say this because they didn't believe it was Peter who knocked at the door of the place they met, even when one of their own was telling them it's him. It's only when they got see him through their sights that they were overjoyed. Remember, Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen - Hebrews 11:1.

Meaning that once we grant God the authority to act in our situation, we become totally depended on Him (trust). With the trust that we are having, we then begin to give thanks to Him as we believe by the Faith that we posses in Him, declaring our victory, though having not yet seen the physical manifestation of our prayers.

Another example: When you are about to purchase a property (a car or house). The possession of the property begins in the Spirit until it's manifested in the natural. In the Spirit starts the desire of what type of property and it's visualisation. Once your heart has settled on a specific property, it's then when the physical possessions of it becomes a realisation that not only you can see, but others too. Though they were not there when you conceived the idea. It's only after its manifestation that they bear testimony.

Right now I would like you to ask God to increase your faith so that you can see through the eyes of faith. As you offer this prayer may He begin to open your Spiritual sight and give you a glimpse of your future, so that you can fully trust Him. "For His promises are Yes and Amen" - 2 Corinthians 1:20.

May God bless you Mightily and restore your prayer life, in Jesus Christ name, Amen!

How true and sincere are you to self?

You can only give what you have. A simple example is a tree which bears a certain type of fruit. Even if you move the tree to a different location, it will still bear the same fruit, provided it's still alive. It doesn't matter whether it's planted in the midst of other trees that bear different fruits to it. It won't change and start bearing apples if it's amongst apple trees, whereas it's a orange tree.

The same analogy applies to us as humans. Our truthfulness and sincerity to others is only as good as we are to ourselves. How more so about God?

Examine your heart - feelings and emotions, mind - thoughts, and actions, then know the person you truly are.

WHAT'S IN THE BLESSING!

I'm sure we are all familiar with the story of Jacob and twelve sons found in the book of Genesis. We'll take our reading from Chapter 49 when Jacob spoke blessings to his 12 sons, whom later became the twelve tribes of Israel the Bible refers to.

Let's put our focus on Judah, Verses 8 - 12:

1. "Your brothers will praise you; your hand will be on the neck of your enemies, your father's sons will bow down to you.

2. You are a lion's cub, Judah, you return from the prey my son. Like a lion, he crouches and lies down - who dares to arouse him.

3. The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler staff from between his feet, ..." - NIV version.

In dissecting the above verses, we wil look into evidence of these uttetances becoming realities.

Starting on point 2:

Numbers 13 give account of 12 men from the Israelites tribes sent to spy on the land of Cannan. Amongst them was Caleb from the tribe of Judah. When all else gave a bad report about the land and it's occupants, because they were paralysed by fear based on what they saw, Joshua and Caleb remained resolute that they should attack as victory will be theirs.

BRAVERY SHOWN HERE BY CALEB IS SYNONYMOUS TO THAT OF A LION AS UTTERED BY JACOB TO HIS SON JUDAH. AGAIN, ONE CAN ONLY RETURN FROM THE PREY IF THEY'RE VICTORIOUS.

2. JESUS CHRIST IS REFERRED TO AS THE LION OF JUDAH BECAUSE HIS GENEALOGY CAN BE TRACED BACK TO THIS TRIBE. HE IS A KING WHOSE HAND IS BEHIND THE BACK OF THE ENEMY (Meaning the Devil, who also bows down to Him). Jesus Christ is a King who adorned the scepter referenced in point 3, and He continues to shepherd His flock (BELIEVERS - YOU AND I) through the staff in His hand - THE WORD OF GOD.

3. LASTLY, ALL THE TWELVE NATIONS - REPRESENTING ALL NATIONS IN THE WORLD ARE PRAISING GOD THROUGH JESUS CHRIST, WHOSE ROOTS ARE TRACED BACK TO THE TRIBE OF JUDAH.

It is now clear how important blessings are to one's life as they transcend generations. The same can also be said of curses.

What this teaches us is the importance of restraining our tongues; especially when nothing of noteworthy can proceed from them, as our utterances can carry curse so destructive that it moves from generation to the other. Instead we should learn the habit of blessing others because we now know what's in the power of the tongue.

Similarly with parents, learn to speak blessings to your children and desist from cursing them. Together we can start a new generation that lives by obedience through the word of God and enjoy the fruits of our labour. IT STARTS NOW AND WITH ME:

MAY GOD'S BLESSING UPON YOUR LIFE BE ABUNDANT!

UNDERSTANDING DOMINION GOD APPORTIONED TO MANKIND!

When God created everything else on earth including man in His image (Genesis 1 & 2) both male and female, He gave them DOMINION over all creation (on earth) and to subdue it.

It's often the misinterpretation or misrepresentation of this fact that man tend to desire domination over the other. Authority which was not given to him.

I recently watched a wildlife documentary relating a story of a young boy who grew up in a remote area, bordered by a jungle with all sorts of animals. He would go to the jungle as he pleases and ultimately forged a relationship with a tiger, at his tender age. As the story unfolded the boy was filmed a couple of times interacting with the animal. Together they would play and the scary part was when animal subdued him (because of its size and strength) and opened it's mouth as if to take a bite on the back of his head. In all these encounters the boy would go back home with cuts a bruises on his body. Inspite of all these, the boy continued his relationship with the animal without much harm.

After watching the documentary it dawned to me that the animal valued the relationship with the boy more than jeopardising it with its predative instincts. It had boundaries and stuck by them, no matter how tempting it was to take a huge bite, especially with the smell of blood from the cuts.

I then realised that the boy gave something special to the animal which made it to value their friendship - his heart (LOVE!). If you haven't figured it out; I will spell it out for you: LOVE CONQUERS ALL. It brings forth the dominion God gave to us into reality and makes us to subdue over all; I mean all.

Next time you have the edge of dominating someone, LOVE THEM, YOUR LOVE WILL SUBDUE THEM ON YOUR BEHALF.

TRY THIS IN EVERY ASPECT OF YOU LIFE AND BEAR THE TESTIMONY OF TRUE DOMINION.

Greetings to all saints in the name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ! When God commissions, He does so effectually and efficiently by equipping you for the task or mission at hand. You can either choose to cooperate with Him or seek your own indulgence leading to gloom. Our God is Sovereign over all, He reigns from ever-lasting to ever-everlasting, and the Holy Scriptures tells us that His Word will never return to Him without accomplishing it's mission.

I am born again through the power of the Holy Ghost, and therefore qualify to share in His inheritance. I have received God's abundance provision of grace to share with you the hidden treasures of God's Kingdom to the salvation of souls. May God bless you and your loved ones and shield you from all principalities and rulers of this world as you grow in His Word, knowledge, wisdom and prosperity, in Jesus Christ name, Amen!
