Dollars, rubles, euros, yuan..? No, we have our own internal currency - innopoints.

Starting from the 1st year, students participate in university events, in the life of student clubs, in project activities. Some become mentors for their international classmates and receive innopoints for this.

What can be purchased with this currency? Basically, this is merch: T-shirts, hoodies, slippers, mittens, socks. Others buy lunch in the cafeteria or pay for campus accommodation.

We believe that volunteering should be encouraged, which is why we came up with such a motivation system.

A few tips on how to qualify for Innopolis University

«Hello, my name is Sergey Gorodetskiy.

I work as an associate professor at Innopolis University and teach mathematical disciplines here. In addition, I conduct interviews as part of the selection process for admission to the university. Let’s talk about this.

The first question that you will be asked at the interview is "Why do you want to enroll in our university?". When you say that this university is very cool - it's not cool. Motivation sounds childish. We would like a more detailed answer to the question "What is your goal and what attracts you here?"

The interview will be in English (this is known in advance). We understand that the level of English at school is different from the level at the university. Therefore, we strongly reccomend you to prepare sample questions related to your future specialization and answer them.

Look at the directions at our university and choose the most suitable one. And justify your choice for the interview. The more knowledge you have in this specialization, the more chances you have to enroll.

You'll immerse yourself in an English-language learning environment and IT terminology so that you can easily understand lectures and foreign literature later at university.

You'll be building your skills in IT while practicing your English at the same time. The course program is designed so that by the end of the course you will have the skills you need to successfully enter your desired field of study. During the course, you will work on a project that can be added to your portfolio for admission to university.

When our applicants receive the long-awaited letters of grant confirmation for their studies, they find out what kind of scholarship they will receive in the first semester.

Innopolis University awards bachelors quite generously for school achievements, masters also get a good start.

But this is no reason to relax: the first semester will be over, and then the scholarship depends on the progress and extracurricular activities.
