Medical insurance of foreign citizens👨‍⚕️

Dear International Preparatory Department participants and foreign students of Kazan national research technical university!
Medical care for foreign citizens is provided on the basis of a voluntary medical insurance policy.
Every foreign citizen arriving to study at KNRTU-KAI must have a voluntary medical insurance policy issued in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation and valid on the territory of the Russian Federation. A foreign citizen is obliged to purchase a policy at the expense of personal funds. The insurance policy is valid for one year. After the termination of the policy, a foreign citizen is obliged to issue a new voluntary health insurance policy.
Purchased medical policy must guarantee the opportunity to fully pass the mandatory medical examination, which is necessary for admission to classes and living in a dormitory.
Please keep in mind that KNRTU-KAI cooperates only with the insurance company "SMP-Insurance" https://www.smpins.ru/
You can issue a voluntary medical insurance policy of this company in the office of the Institute of International Education at the address: K. Marx Str., 10 (1 educational building of KNRTU-KAI).
Be vigilant: do not take out insurance policies from unknown people and do not hand over your money to dubious acquaintances!
