🏆🏅Karate fighters from INRTU Andrian Amsheev and Sainbayar Davaarzhargal won medals of the republican tournament “White Moon Cup” in Ulan-Ude. The competition was held on February 22, bringing together 136 athletes.
Andrian Amsheev, a specialist of the Center of International Services of INRTU, took “gold” in the category “kata”. He has been practicing karate since 2015, has a black belt (second dan), is a prize-winner of tournaments of various levels. Experience and skill helped Andrian to prove himself worthily in the fight against rivals from Buryatia and Tajikistan.
✨It should be noted that Andrian Amsheev also acted as a coach for Sainbayar Davaarzhargal – a student from Mongolia, studying at the Preperatory Department of INRTU with the support of energy holding EN+ Group. Sainbayar became a bronze medalist of the “White Moon Cup” in the “kata” and “kumite” categories.
✨“Adaptation of international students in Russia is not limited to assistance in studies and paperwork – we actively involve students in arts and sports. Before coming to INRTU, Sainbayar Davaarzhargal practiced volleyball professionally and has a first division. In December I invited the student to karate classes.
✨For two months of training Sainbayar achieved high results, competing with experienced athletes from Buryatia. This is an example of determination and hard work,” commented Andrian Amsheev on the student's success.

🏢 Aleksandr Petunin, a senior lecturer of INRTU Department of Construction Operations, under the guidance of Associate Professor Aleksandr Petrov, is researching type 335 large-panel houses. The INRTU experts offer constructive solutions to increase the seismic resistance of buildings, improve the thermal performance of building envelopes, and increase living space. This initiative is implemented under the Priority 2030 program.Regarding the relevance of the research topic, Aleksandr Petunin noted that the standard projects of type 1-335 houses of various modifications were developed by LenZNIIEP engineers for regions with seven or eight points seismicity. They were used in the construction of Irkutsk in 1960-1976. About 500 houses of this type are in use in the regional center. Sayansk, Zima, Usolie-Sibirskoye, Shelekhov, and Angarsk have a significant share of the housing stock.
🔎 In practice, INRTU specialists have successfully tested technologies for restoring the operational reliability of wall panels using modified lightweight concrete. A method known as "torquetting" improves the structural integrity of gas-ash concrete panels by incorporating a ventilated facade system.
🔎 Type 335 structures that have been in operation for over 45-60 years without repair and protection measures and have mass typical failures. Local defects and damage to the aerated concrete of the outdoor wall panels (window and door openings, assembly and intersection joints) occur due to frost degradation centers in condensation accumulation zones. The problem is the continuous delamination of outdoor wall panels facing north-west, exposed to intensive rainfall, threatening their sudden collapse.

🔵 INRTU Design and Technology Bureau (DTB) presented a sample of an electric auto feed drilling machine (AFDM) to the Irkutsk Aviation Plant, a Yakovlev Corporation branch. The tool improves the quality and productivity of drilling of multi-layer aircraft parts (composite-steel-titanium-aluminum), competing with foreign analogues. The main advantage of the INRTU drilling machine is the ability to assign drilling modes for each layer of material.
The engineering and technical solution is the result of cooperation between the DTB and the Research Laboratory of Digital Technologies for the Production of Polymer Composite Materials under the Priority 2030 Program.
According to Pavel Grishkevich, the head of DTB, the device with separate drill feed and rotation is new to the Russian market. INRTU engineers developed the mechanical part of the drilling machine, installed control and instrumentation systems (CIS) and a cutting fluid supply system (CFSS). The engineers designed and built a working prototype of a tool that can be adjusted to drill holes up to 12 mm in diameter.
The AFDM allows for drilling holes in a single setup without changing the cutting tool, ensuring high accuracy in aircraft assembly. It is designed for operations involving composite steel-titanium-aluminum packages.
