International Young Composers Academy in Tchaikovsky City

We announce the call for submissions for participation in the 16th International Academy of Young Composers in Tchaikovsky city.

16th International Young Composers Academy will be held from September 1 to September 15, 2026 in Tchaikovsky-city with the final concerts in Tchaikovsky-city (September 13-14) and in Moscow (September 16-17).

There is no application or entry fee.

The jury will select 22 young composers (12 students, 3 trainees and 7 observers) from all over the world, their new pieces will be performed by Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble (MCME), Vacuum string quartet and N’Caged at the final concert series.

Food, accommodation and transport inside Russia (from Moscow) are covered by the Academy. Participants from abroad may take part either in person or online via Zoom.

The Academy will host concerts, lectures, meetings, individual and group lessons, master-classes and presentations.
The main directions of 15th Academy are:
- the General course for composers
- the Laboratory of electroacoustic music (curator - Nikolai Popov)
- the Special Course for musicologists and musical producers (curators: Irina Sevastianova and Tatiana Yakovleva)
- the Workshop for Improvisation (curator - Oleg Makarov)
- the Practical Course for sound technicians

Internationally-renowned composers are invited as tutors. Full tutors faculty is to be announced later.
The jury will select 21 young composers (12 students, 3 trainees and 6 observers) from all over the world, their new pieces will be performed by Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble (MCME), CEAM Artists and N’Caged at the final concert series. There will be also organized advanced training courses (refresher courses) for musical teachers.

Qarabağ Universitetinin İncəsənət fakültəsinin dekanı Türkər Qasımzadə Rusiyanın Çaykovski və Moskva şəhərlərində keçirilən 14-cü Beynəlxalq Gənc Bəstəkarlar Festivalında qonaq professor qismində iştirak edib.

Türkər Qasımzadə festival çərçivəsində “12 fərqli üsul: mətnin musiqiyə inkorporasiyası” adlı mühazirəsini təqdim edib. Eyni zamanda, gənc bəstəkarlarla fərdi ustad dərsləri keçirərək, müasir musiqi problemləri ilə bağlı dəyirmi masa müzakirələrində iştirak edib. Bundan əlavə, Çaykovski şəhərində və Moskva Dövlət Filarmoniyasında T.Qasımzadənin əsərlərinin premyeraları baş tutub.

Qeyd edək ki, bu festival müasir bəstəkar musiqisi sahəsində dünyanın tanınmış festivallarından biridir və gənc musiqiçilərin yaradıcılıq bacarıqlarını artırmağa, həmçinin müasir musiqi sahəsindəki yenilikləri müzakirə etməyə şərait yaradır.

Объявляется набор для участия в Четырнадцатой международной академии молодых композиторов в городе Чайковском Пермского края, которая пройдет с 30 августа по 13 сентября 2024 года с финальными концертами 11, 12 сентября в Чайковском и 14, 15 сентября в Москве.

Направления Академии-2024:
– Основной композиторский курс
– Лаборатория электроакустической музыки ЦЭАМ для композиторов (куратор – Николай Попов)
– Спецкурс для молодых музыковедов и музыкальных продюсеров (кураторы – Ирина Севастьянова и Татьяна Яковлева)
– Воркшоп по импровизации (куратор – Олег Макаров)

В рамках академии пройдут индивидуальные и групповые занятия, концерты, лекции, творческие встречи, мастер-классы, презентации. Отобранным студентам будет предоставлена возможность участвовать в образовательных мероприятиях как в оффлайн, так и в онлайн форматах. В качестве профессоров Академии будут приглашены известные композиторы, музыковеды, кураторы в сфере современной музыки, исполнители (имена будут объявлены дополнительно).

В серии финальных концертов будут исполнены новые сочинения студентов для Московского Ансамбля Современной Музыки (МАСМ) и Ансамбля CEAM-Artists с электроникой. В рамках Четырнадцатой академии пройдут Курсы повышения квалификации для музыкальных педагогов, по завершении которых будут выданы сертификаты государственного образца.

Для отобранных студентов питание, проживание и переезд из Москвы в Чайковский и обратно оплачивается академией.

Дедлайн: заявки по всем направлениям принимаются до 15 мая 2024 года. Результаты будут объявлены 15 июня 2024 года.
