🌍 Here we are… almost at the final stage of the Touri Project

Today, we gathered in Sofia 🇧🇬 for the final transnational meeting, an important moment to look back at the progress we have made and prepare for the final months of implementation. One of the main topics discussed was the TouriCulture platform, our final project result, which is almost ready to be shared with you! But there is still plenty of work ahead. Over the next two months, partners will carry out: pilot testing activities, giving participants the opportunity to explore and test the platform; and dissemination events, where we will present the project, our work and the resources available.

🎓 The second part of the day was dedicated to the project final conference, where more than 45 teachers and students from the University of Forestry joined us to discover the project and learn more about the resources available online to everyone interested in cultural and rural tourism. 🌱🏡

👏On 17-18 September 2026, Centrul Pentru Promovarea Invatarii Permanente was pleased to take part in the European Justice Education & Leadership Summit in Vienna 🇦🇹 organised by Richtungswechsel - AT together with Grow Transform Belong CIC and Smart Corrections.

Held under the motto “Every role matters. Every voice leads,” the Summit brought together justice professionals, educators, policymakers and changemakers from across Europe to exchange perspectives on modern leadership cultures, professional development and the future of justice education.

📣We brought our experience, perspectives, and ongoing work through initiatives such as Pictures Project Promote Project and the Liberate Skills Pact, together with our project partners in Romania, Penitenciarul Timișoara and Penitenciarul Gherla sharing insights from our work in lifelong learning, professional development, and justice innovation.

The Summit created space for diverse and thought-provoking perspectives, with discussions addressing how leadership, education, innovation and professional development can contribute to sustainable change within justice systems. We were glad to contribute to these conversations and to bring CPIP’s mission and vision to light, connecting our work with broader European efforts to build more human-centred and future-oriented justice environments.

🤝For us, the event was also an opportunity to connect with colleagues, exchange experiences and identify new perspectives that can add real value to our ongoing work and future collaborations!

🚀Starting this month, we have a new project in implementation!

GreenSHIFT Europe: Piloting a Skills Guarantee for Automotive Workers’ Transition to the Green and Circular Economy under the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+). The project is coordinated by Consiliul Judeţean Timiş, together with us Centrul Pentru Promovarea Invatarii Permanente, AKMI International, Eco Serv Timiș and AJOFM TIMIS as associated partner.

GreenSHIFT Europe is a 24-month transnational project piloting an innovative Skills Guarantee model to support workers currently employed in the automotive sector and related supply chains who are at risk of job loss due to industrial restructuring. The project departs from traditional linear upskilling approaches and introduces a skills-ecosystem logic, combining early Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), micro-credentials, and target up-/reskilling pathways to enable rapid job-to-job transitions into strategic and growing sectors aligned with the EU’s Clean Transition and Industrial Decarbonisation objectives.

GreenSHIFT Europe will support 30 workers in Romania and 30 workers in Greece, ensuring that all participants secure at least six months of employment with receiving employers in sectors such as the circular economy, recycling, bio-based industries and other green activities!

🌍✨*The Skills Guarantee is a new tool to help boost the competitiveness of the European economy. It helps workers in sectors undergoing restructuring transition into new jobs in companies in growing and strategic sectors by offering re-skilling and up-skilling measures, on-the-job training and employment support.

Earlier today, we successfully concluded the 3rd transnational partnership meeting of the Ensure Project in Málaga 🇪🇸

It was a valuable opportunity for all partners to align on the project’s progress, ongoing activities, and upcoming deliverables, while also setting the next steps for the months ahead! A productive meeting, meaningful discussions, and plenty of ideas to take forward! 🚀

We also focused on the Training of Trainers sessions, which are currently taking place in Málaga and will continue until Friday. These sessions focus on hands-on learning and knowledge sharing, so that participants can prepare for and respond to emergency situations!

Despre această săptămână...
Începând de mâine, echipa noastră va participa la cea de-a treia întâlnire din cadrul Ensure Project, organizată în Málaga 🇪🇸

Mai mult, reprezentanți din cadrul ISU Timiș ni se vor alătura în sesiunea de instruire a formatorilor derulată pe parcursul a trei zile!

🎯Obiectivele acestei instruiri:
-Prezentarea scenariilor de realitate virtuală (VR) dezvoltate în cadrul proiectului
-Explicarea cerințelor educaționale și de formare
-Familiarizarea formatorilor cu mediile și echipamentele de realitate virtuală
-Aplicarea tehnologiei în scenarii realiste de urgență
-Dezvoltarea competențelor operaționale practice

🔜Ce ne propunem prin această instruire?
-Îmbunătățirea competențelor în ceea ce privește metodologiile de instruire bazate pe realitatea virtuală
-O mai bună înțelegere a aplicațiilor dronelor în gestionarea situațiilor de urgență
-O mai mare încredere în utilizarea tehnologiilor inovatoare de instruire
-O colaborare mai solidă între partenerii ENSURE
-Feedback util pentru dezvoltarea viitoare a resurselor de instruire

📣Participarea înseamnă mai mult decât a fi prezent, înseamnă să ai curajul să îți faci vocea auzită și să contribui la schimbarea comunității din care faci parte. Ne bucurăm să vedem impactul pe care proiectul Movingon îl are asupra tinerilor implicați! Experiența lui Iulian demonstrează că, atunci când tinerii primesc sprijin, oportunități și sunt încurajați să participe activ, câștigă încredere în propriile forțe, își dezvoltă noi competențe și construiesc relații care îi ajută să privească spre viitor cu mai multă încredere.

Fiecare poveste de succes ne amintește că schimbarea este posibilă atunci când tinerii beneficiază de sprijinul potrivit, iar comunitățile aleg să investească în potențialul lor!💜

How can Artificial Intelligence and digital skills better support farmers?

Under the project, coordinated by International Hellenic University/Διεθνές Πανεπιστήμιο της Ελλάδος CPIP - COMUNITATEA PENTRU INVATAREA PERMANENTA organised this month's Romanian National Focus Group, bringing together in hybrid format active farmers, a teacher from an agricultural technological high school, a lecturer from the King Michael I University of Life Sciences in Timișoara, an agricultural officer and an agricultural register counsellor from local public administration, and an agriculture student who works on her family's farm.

The research team in Timișoara, part of CAAIVE, is formed by academic staff from Universitatea de Științele Vieții “Regele Mihai I” din Timișoara

The discussion highlighted key priorities for the sector, from GPS-guided farming and precision technologies to practical training, recognised certifications and the financial conditions needed to make digital transformation accessible for all farmers.

Thought CAAIVE we are helping shape future vocational education and micro-credentials that respond to the real needs of the agricultural community. 🌱🇪🇺
