Migratie.ro was projected to provide information about the migration and mobility studies within Romania and the CEE space, as Romania is the Eastern border of the enlarged European Union. The website is primarily designed to be a platform for the idea of introducing the migration and mobility studies in the academic curricula of the Romanian universities.

Am reintalnit bucuros conducerea UVT si fost absolventi. Impreuna sper sa putem sprijini atat UVT cat si Timisoara. Asteptam urmatoarele reuniuni, iar pana atunci ne concentram pe proiecte concrete. Cum ar fi conectarea UVT (studii de securitate si cyber) cu noul proiect al Scolii Doctorale Europene in domeniul PSAC al European Security and Defence College .

A new role for the Balkans: Solutions for more security and better migration management

Mr Boyko BORISSOV, Prime Minister of Bulgaria, participated in a debate on migration challenges in the Balkans at the Representation of the Free State of Bavaria to the EU, Brussels, 1 February 2018. An event organised in the framework of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, with the support of the Hanns Seidel Foundation, Germany. Ms Lilyana PAVLOVA, minister of the Bulgarian EU-Presidency, presented the priorities for the 1st semester 2018. Mr manfred WEBER, German MEP, joined the discussion with PM BORISSOV, which was moderated by Ms Eva MAYDELL, Bulgarian MEP. 'The State of the World on Migration' with António Vitorino, Portuguese candidate for IOM Director-General and former European Commissioner for Justice and Home Affairs during Prodi's EU Commission, and Demetrios G. Papademetriou, the founder of the Migration Policy Institute. The two experienced thinkers on migration policy discussed about the challenges and opportunities on migration.
