DIYouth Erasmus+

On Friday, May 5, took place the dissemination event "A new generation of young European entrepreneurs in the creative and cultural sector", through which the results and useful documents created within the project - ”Digital Youth Training on Creative & Cultural Digital Entrepreneurship were presented”. The participants discovered new financing opportunities in the cultural and creative sector and learned from the experiences of other young entrepreneurs from Timișoara.
🧡 We thank the moderator Nadia Tismăneanu 👏, the guests Vlad Tăușance and Raluca Iacob (Centrul de Proiecte Timișoara) who provided a clear context of the cultural and creative sector at local, national and international level, as well as the young women who opened their hearts, sharing from their own experiences as a young entrepreneurs: Maria Dimian (Maria Dimian photography), Anitta Pelin (Spații Noi) and Daliana Pavel (Kaolith).
The DIYouth consortium, coordinated by the Western University of Timișoara, includes as institutional partners: Helixconnect Europe (RO), the Timișoara 2021 Association - European Capital of Culture (RO), ISQe (PT), the Novi Sad 2022 Foundation - European Capital of Culture (SR ), YET AMKE (GR).

A pilot event of the online course developed within the DIYouth project for professionals interested in youth entrepreneurship education in the and sector took place April 21nd. It was organized in a face to face format by the Romanian project partners: the Western University of Timișoara, "Timișoara 2021 - European Capital of Culture" Association and Helixconnect Europe, in cooperation with the County Youth Foundation Timisoara. A nice proiect involving nice people in a nice setting are the main ingredients of a successful event! 😊"

Why Culture Matters?
International Symposium is organized for three days, in Timișoara, and centers around three main themes: material and immaterial heritage, relationships between center and periphery, and migration.

Bringing together actors involved in projects and initiatives related to these topics, the symposium proposes to its participants to reflect on how culture (in its several dimensions: as a product, as a process, and as an instrument) interacts with and is shaped by them in the exceptional context of Timișoara 2023.
