ACT 4 U

Astăzi este Ziua Internaţională a Voluntarului! Dorim să felicităm toţi membrii organizaţiilor de voluntariat de pretutindeni, dar în special membrii ACT4U, care dau în continuare dovadă de dorinţă de implicare şi de bunavoinţă de ajutorare a semenilor. Considerăm că voluntariatul este o experienţă prin care toţi trebuie să trecem, un “must have”, iar cel mai important lucru e faptul că nu aşteptăm nimic în schimb. La Mulţi Ani, dragi voluntari!

Ziua de azi nu se poate încheia fără să îi urăm un călduros "La mulţi ani!" coordonatoarei noastre, Bianca Durkovics, sufletul asociaţiei ACT4U. Draga noastră, eşti un exemplu demn de urmat pentru tânăra generaţie şi nu numai, fapt pentru care îţi mulţumim. Îţi dorim mult succes în proiectele viitoare şi să nu-ţi pierzi niciodată entuziasmul şi determinarea! Te iubim! :)

Astazi s-au incheiat cele 6 luni de stagiu de voluntariat pentru cei 3 tineri din Italia, Spania si Germania care au facut parte din proiectul EVStart Paying Forward, finantat de uniunea europeana prin programul Erasmus +. Chiara, Nicolas si Javier sunt primii voluntari gazduiti de ACT 4 U prin Serviciul European de Voluntariat care au sustinut organizatia noastra in implementarea numeroaselor activitati in folosul comunitatii satmarene, in special al tinerilor. Le multumim pentru tot ce ne-au oferit, si speram ca aceasta experienta sa fi fost una care sa conteze in parcusul vietii lor. Pe curand voluntari dragi, a fost o placere :).

Today, was the last day of the 6 months EVS service for our 3 young volunteers from Italy, Spain and Germany that took part of the project EVStart Paying Forward, funded by the european union trough Erasmus +.Chiara, Nicolas and Javier, are the first volunteers hosted by ACT 4U trough European Voluntary Service,that helped us in implementing activities for the local community, mostly for youth.We want to thank them for what they offered us and we hope this unique experience will be an important chapter in their future life from now on. It was a pleasure darlings, see you soon :)

Our German Intercultural Evening took place today at Biblioteca Judeţeană Satu Mare and it was a great success! Many thanks to Nicolas Mandolini, our EVS volunteer from Germany, for offering us a taste of the German experience!
This has been our last event in the series of "Intercultural Evenings", part of "EVStart Paying Forward", an ACT4U project funded by the European Union through Erasmus +.

Our last event in the "European Movies and Youth" series took place yesterday at The LINE and once again we had an amazing time. We watched "Sonnenallee", a 1999 comedy directed by Leander Haußmann, about a group of teenagers living in East Berlin in the late 1970s.

During the weekend ACT4U organized a mini-camp in which our EVS Volunteers have shared some non-formal learning techniques acquired in the workshops in Cluj-Napoca: "Improvisation theatre", "Light and Shadow theatre" and "Drumming, Ecobatucada".
We also did the final evaluation of their 6 months spent as international volunteers in Romania and talked about their amazing impact in our association. Good times! :)

Once again we had a wonderful time @ The Line! During our "Cross the Line" event, Nico, our EVS volunteer from Germany, showed us some of his impressing beatbox skills. Then, our EVS volunteers talked about their Erasmus+ experience in Romania. The evening ended with the wonderful French-Spanish film "L'auberge espagnole".

Our "Weekend of Love" has ended, but the memories will last forever! A big thank you to all our lovely volunteers who did such an amazing job these days! We are very proud of them!

Our first day of "Weekend of Love" couldn't have ended in a more beautiful way! @ The LINE we watched the 2009 television film "Prayers for Bobby", based on the true story of Bobby Griffith, a young gay man who killed himself in 1983 due to his mother's and community's homophobia. Such a powerful and emotional movie!
