On April 13th we held the second dissemination event, at Youth Hub Ramnicu Valcea, under the tagline .
We started in Romanian; continued via translation from Romanian to English, because we also had young people from other countries present (ESC volunteers staying in Valcea and getting involved in lots of youth activities); then finished in English, because that's what does: it's a melting pot, bringing us all together in one culture - a culture of , and . We first had a presentation by the Group Leader in our project, about what the Erasmus Programme is, about the benefits and impact it brings to the lives of young people who join in. Then we watched the 4 final theater plays created by participants during the mobility. We had a Q&A with 4 ACT Pursuit participants, who were in turn actors, screenplay writers, scenographers for the theater plays they put together along with their other 24 colleagues. We also had a few words from the 2 facilitators in the mobility, mainly with the theater sessions facilitator, a professional actor and director, with strong didactical skills. He explained to the young people present in the room the reasons why education is important, why it's important to prioritise it, why being educated allows you to have more fun and better quality fun, therefore youth years should be treasured and not wasted by shallowness. He explained about the way that theater, as well as learning mobilities help young people communicate better, build up their confidence and teach them that by getting involved they can be good in any career field they might choose. That it's important to state your truths, to share your truths and abide by them.♥️
P.S. We also had snacks and a 4-year old present; never too early to have them immersed in the universe of .😀🥰
We are truly grateful for the lessons of this project, for the wonderful team we had on our side and for the imprint this experience has left on us all. We'll definitely carry it further.🫶🎭
