☀️🇪🇺 Summer holidays are in full swing, but the Co.De consortium continues to make a real impact! 🇪🇺☀️
While many are enjoying a well-deserved summer break 🌞, the Co.De – Collaborative Design for Digital Education project continues to inspire educators across Europe through additional dissemination and knowledge-sharing activities. 📚✨

🇧🇬 We are especially proud that our distinguished partner Budakov Films organised and delivered an additional dissemination event in Bulgaria - beyond the activities originally planned in the project proposal and Dissemination Plan. This initiative was driven by the outstanding interest shown by Bulgarian secondary school teachers, who were eager to learn more about the project's innovative educational resources. 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫🇧🇬

💡 During the event, participants explored the key achievements of Work Package 3, including:
📘 Module 1 – Foundations of Collaborative Digital Education
🤝 Module 2 – Collaborative Learning Strategies and Digital Pedagogy
💻 Module 3 – Digital Tools and Practical Implementation through the Co.De Moodle Toolkit

Teachers also discovered the Pedagogical Guideline and Technical Guideline, gaining practical knowledge on how to integrate collaborative digital teaching into their everyday educational practice. 🚀📱

🇪🇺 Another productive milestone for the Co.De – Collaborative Design for Digital Education Erasmus+ project!

Our international consortium came together for the July Monthly Online Meeting to review the excellent progress achieved across the project and prepare for the exciting months ahead.

💡 Key highlights included:
✅ Piloting activities are successfully underway across partner countries.
✅ Continued translation and localisation of the Technical and Pedagogical Guides to make the Co.De Toolkit accessible to educators across Europe.
✅ Final improvements to the Co.De Toolkit, including discussions on multilingual certification to better support participants in their native languages.
✅ Preparation of dissemination activities, local multiplier events, and Erasmus Days initiatives to maximise the project's impact.
✅ Confirmation of the Final International Conference**, taking place on 14 October 2026, where partners will present the project's achievements and results to the wider educational community.

🚀 Teacher Piloting Phase Underway in the Co.De. Project!

The Co.De. partnership has launched the piloting phase of its teacher training programme, a key milestone in the project's mission to promote the co-design of learning and support the prevention of early school leaving.

👩‍🏫 Between July and September, each partner organisation will train 30 teachers using the Co.De. learning pathway and toolkit developed throughout the project.

The training programme includes a series of practical modules covering:
✔️ Role Playing
✔️ Storyboarding
✔️ Flash Thinking Challenges
✔️ Lifeboat Exercises
✔️ Mentoring, Critical Friends & Shadowing
✔️ User Testing
✔️ Crowdsourcing

💡 Through this pilot phase, teachers will explore innovative methodologies and digital tools designed to foster student participation, collaboration, motivation, and ownership of learning.

🎯 The feedback collected from educators will help the partnership assess and further improve the training materials before their wider dissemination across Europe.

We look forward to hearing the experiences of teachers and discovering the impact of co-design approaches in diverse educational contexts.

As part of Activity 3.8 – Piloting of the Toolkit within the Erasmus+ co-funded Co.De. (Co-Design Learning Paths Against Early School Leaving) project, „Colonel Constantin Langa” Secondary School, Miroslava successfully implemented an innovative co-design learning activity with lower-secondary students on May,11th 2026, based on Module 5: Co-Design Learning through Lifeboat Exercises.
A total of 30 students from the 6th grade participated in “The Green Island Expedition”, a Lifeboat exercise integrated into their English language lesson. Through small-group collaboration, crisis-scenario analysis, and resource prioritization, students strengthened their communication, critical thinking, negotiation, and team-building skills.

Students reported that the LIFEBOAT method turned the lesson into a fun, real-world challenge. It boosted classroom energy and empathy, helping them move past individual preferences to focus on what was best for the whole team's survival. Working in small groups allowed them to use English as a practical tool to negotiate, listen to one another, and reach a consensus confidently.
The results highlight the incredible potential of the Co.De. Toolkit to foster active learning, promote student voice, and level classroom hierarchies. By placing learners at the center of a crisis-solving scenario, this co-design methodology builds a strong sense of shared responsibility and sustained motivation, helping to keep students connected and engaged in the educational process.

🇪🇺 Successful Co.De. WP3 Piloting in Romania! 🇷🇴
As part of Activity 3.8 – Piloting of the Toolkit within the Erasmus+ co-funded Co.De. (Co-Design Learning Paths Against Early School Leaving) project, Titu Maiorescu Secondary School successfully implemented two innovative co-design learning activities with lower-secondary students in May 2026 based on Module 3: Co-Design Learning through Storyboarding
👩‍🏫 A total of 52 students from Grades 5 and 8 participated in Storyboarding and Digital Storytelling activities integrated into English language lessons. Through collaborative planning, visual storytelling, comic-strip creation, and digital content development, students strengthened their communication, creativity, teamwork, critical thinking, and digital literacy skills.
📊 Key Outcomes of the Piloting:
✅ Collaboration & Communication: 4.9/5
✅ Student Engagement: 4.8/5
✅ Motivation to Participate and Learn: 4.8/5

🇪🇺🇧🇬 Successful Co.De. WP3 Piloting in Bulgaria!
As part of Activity 3.8 – Piloting of the Toolkitwithin the Erasmus+ co-funded Co.De. (Co-Design Learning Paths Against Early School Leaving) Co.De. Education project, Budakov Films successfully implemented a piloting session at Georgi Sava Rakovski Middle School on 28 May 2026.

👩‍🏫 27 students from Grades 11 and 12 participated in an innovative co-design role-playing activity integrated into Biology and Health Education classes. Through realistic scenarios, students explored the challenges faced by young people considering leaving school and collaboratively identified ways to encourage educational continuation and personal development.

📊 Outstanding Results from the Piloting:
✅ Collaboration & Communication: 4.8/5
✅ Engagement: 4.7/5
✅ Motivation to Learn: 4.6/5
✅ Focus During the Lesson: 4.5/5

📍 TPM & Steering Committee Meeting | Co.De. Project – Piraeus

Partners of the Co.De. project met in Piraeus for productive TPM and Steering Committee meetings focused on reviewing progress and planning the next steps of the project.

🤝 The sessions provided a valuable opportunity to coordinate upcoming actions, exchange ideas, and strengthen collaboration among partners.

💡 Thanks to the commitment and active participation of all partners, we continue moving forward towards the successful implementation of the project objectives.

🚀 LTTA Activity in Progress | Co.De. Project
On April 27–28, we are hosting a Learning, Teaching and Training Activity (LTTA) within the Co.De. project, bringing together 35 educators from 7 partner countries.
📍 The session is taking place at IDEC’s facilities, our Greek partner, in Piraeus.
👩‍🏫 During these two days, participants are exploring and testing the training materials we have developed to support teachers in implementing co-design of learning in their classrooms.
💡 During the LTTA, we have presented the full Co.De. training pathway, including:
• Introduction & pedagogical guides
• E-learning platform & technical guide
• Modules on Role Playing, Storyboarding, Flash Thinking Challenges, and Lifeboat Exercises, Mentoring, Critical Friends & Shadowing, User Testing, and Crowdsourcing
Each module combined material presentation with hands-on activities using the Co.De. tools.
