Seven Hills International School

On Wednesday, our school had the privilege of welcoming representatives from the Anti-Drug Police Department for an impactful and eye-opening session with our students.

Through honest discussions and real-life insights, students in Stages 8–11 explored the risks associated with substance use and the importance of making responsible, informed choices. The sessions were engaging, thought-provoking, and left a lasting impression on everyone involved.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Senior Chief Police Officer Claudiu Mercaș, from the School Safety Bureau within the Iași County Police Inspectorate, for dedicating his time and expertise to supporting our students’ well-being and future.

🇷🇴 Miercuri, școala noastră a avut privilegiul de a primi reprezentanți ai Departamentului Antidrog pentru o sesiune de impact și plină de conștientizare alături de elevii noștri.

Prin discuții deschise și exemple din viața reală, elevii din Stages 8–11 au explorat riscurile asociate consumului de substanțe și importanța luării unor decizii responsabile și informate. Sesiunile au fost interactive, provocatoare și au lăsat o impresie puternică asupra tuturor participanților.

Le mulțumim sincer Comisarului-șef de poliție Claudiu Mercaș, din cadrul Biroului Siguranță Școlară al Inspectoratului de Poliție Județean Iași, pentru timpul și expertiza oferite în sprijinul bunăstării și viitorului elevilor noștri.

✨📚 BOOK WEEK – DAYS 2 & 3 RECAP 📚✨

Stories came alive all around our school these past few days!

During a fantastic creative workshop with Emanuela Ntamack, students explored how ideas grow into characters we can see, feel, and believe in. Imagination and storytelling were everywhere.

We loved seeing older students reading to younger ones — a beautiful reminder that stories connect us across ages. 💛

Students also got creative decorating character masks and designing their own bookmarks to use in their favorite reads.

Book Week isn’t just about reading stories — it’s about stepping inside them. ✨📖

Book Week Day 1 📚✨

Today we kicked things off with our 𝐃𝐫𝐨𝐩 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 and the whole school hit pause to get lost in a good book. For 30 peaceful minutes, hallways were quiet, imaginations were loud, and stories took over.

We also started our 𝐐𝐮𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐰𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 — students sharing favorite lines and discovering words that stick with you long after the book closes.

And the highlight? 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬’ 𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐬! Teachers visited different classes to read books they personally love. Nothing beats hearing a story from someone who genuinely can’t wait to share it.
