Societatea Micologică din România este o organizație fără scop patrimonial, ce desfășoară activități științifice în domeniul micologiei și de popularizare a cunoștințelor micologice.Societatea a fost înființată în anul 1990 și are sediul în Iași. Activitatea societății este adresată atât specialiștilor din domeniu, elevilor, studenților, masteranzilor și doctoranzilor cât și pasionaților de micologie, amatorilor și a celor ce doresc să se inițieze în cunoașterea diversității micologice, a ciupercilor comestibile și a celor toxice etc. The society was founded in 1990 and and has its headquarters in Iasi. The society's activity is addressed to specialists in the field, to undergraduate students, masters students and doctoral students, to mycology enthusiasts, amateurs and to those who want to achieve knowledge on fungal diversity, edible and toxic mushrooms etc.
