𝗠𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸 | 21.09 - 26.09

🌍 The EMME project and its partners are in Romania, at the Hațeg Geopark, for the final meeting of the project: Mobility for Students.

📌 On the first day, partners gathered at Aron Densusianu School in Hațeg, where each team shared their presentations. Afterwards, we visited the Hațeg Geopark headquarters, discovering more about this unique territory and taking part in a creative workshop on fossil painting.

✨ A great start to our last journey together, full of learning, exchange, and inspiration!

🌍 The second day of Mobility activities for students in the Azores was dedicated to a Geosites Route around Terceira Island.

🥾 The students and teachers who are partners in the EMME project had the opportunity to visit several geosites in the Azores UNESCO World Geopark, such as Serra do Cume, Serra do Facho, Alagoa da Fajãzinha, Biscoitos, Pico Matias Simão and Furnas do Enxofre.

🌍The first day of activities took place on the island of Terceira, in Angra do Heroísmo, with the presence of the students and teachers taking part in the Mobility #5 of the Erasmus+ Project “𝗘𝗠𝗠𝗘 - 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵”.

🔬 The morning was spent with presentations, experiments and logo paintinf of the partner schools and geoparks on the Erasmus Mural.

🥾 During the afternoon, the new walking trail "Mistério Novo" was explored.

🏝 The first 3 days of this Erasmus mobility will be on Terceira Island and the remaining 2 days, the group will travel to Pico and Faial island.

#𝗘𝗠𝗠𝗘 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘂𝗺 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 -> 𝗔 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 👩‍🏫🌍🌱

On October 18, the 1st Conference of the EMME - Exchanging Memories, Memory of the Earth- project was held, as part of workpackage 1 - Curriculum.

💻 This insightful conference took place during 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 week and during the #𝗘𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗗𝗮𝘆 week, where educators, experts and enthusiasts came together to explore innovative approaches to integrate geosciences and sustainability into European educational systems.

📖 The aim of this conference was to introduce students from the project's partner schools to the concept of the EMME project and the work that has been carried out with regard to the development and structure of the EMME curriculum.

👩‍🎓 Alongside this, there were also made presentations by the students about their schools, as well as a presentation of the work done by esjea with regard to the translation of the Children's Guide "The Volcanic Cavities of the Azores".

🎯 The conference ended with a dynamic Kahoot game designed to arouse students' interest in geology and the memory of the Earth.

During the Staff Training in the Azores, our partners had the opportunity to take the Geosites Route of Terceira island.

The purpose of this route was to visit some of Terceira Island’s geosites, namely 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗹, 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮 𝗱𝗼 𝗖𝘂𝗺𝗲 + 𝗟𝗮𝗷𝗲𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗻, 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘀 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗮̃𝗼 and 𝗔𝗹𝗴𝗮𝗿 𝗱𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗮̃𝗼, with the aim of giving our partners some knowledge about the geological formation and history of these places of geological interest.
