From student… to actress. 🎭✨
Maria – one of my dear students from the UK – studied stage and screen acting, graduated, and became a professional actress.
Recently, she called me with a very special request: to share my own story as a pianist – the childhood moments, the struggles, the bittersweet truths that shaped who I am today – so she could use it as inspiration for her new role as a musician. 🎹💫
I am beyond touched that this “child” I once guided and protected now wishes to bring my story to life on screen. Watching her grow into the amazing woman she is today fills my heart with pride and gratitude. 🥹🙏

🎭 De la lecțiile de engleză… la marile scene

Maria – una dintre fostele mele eleve din Marea Britanie – a studiat actoria de teatru și film, a absolvit și a devenit actriță profesionistă.

Zilele trecute m-a sunat cu o rugăminte specială: să-i povestesc despre viața mea de pianistă — despre copilărie, greutăți, trăiri și adevăruri care m-au format — pentru a se putea inspira din ele în construirea noului ei rol. Interpretează o pianistă. 🎹

M-a emoționat profund acest telefon.

Un copil căruia i-am fost profesor cu ani în urmă îmi cere acum fragmente din povestea mea de viață pentru a le duce mai departe prin artă. Ce onoare…

Maria, sunt atât de mândră de tine. Sper ca și părinții tăi – care sunt niște oameni deosebiți – să citească aceste rânduri și să simtă, încă o dată, cât de minunată este fiica lor. 💫

We’re proud to officially welcome Mr. Gabriel Stănescu to the Magliano Global team of mentors. A concert violinist, a jazz vocal coach, and a brilliant pianist, Mr. Stănescu is a rare gem — the kind of teacher who not only plays, but deeply understands the emotional intelligence behind the music. Currently a professor at the National College of Arts “George Enescu” and the National College of Arts “Dinu Lipatti”, he brings with him a wealth of knowledge and stage experience. Starting August 1st, he is available for one-on-one mentorship sessions in: 🎻 Violin 🎹 Piano 🎤 Jazz Vocal PerformanceWhether your child is just discovering music, or already passionate about it, Mr. Stănescu will meet them with excellence, depth, and care. 🌱 A warm welcome to the newest member of Magliano Global

Today I had the pleasure of meeting with an extraordinary woman whose kindness, wisdom, and depth left a lasting impression. Starting this September, I’m honoured to welcome Mrs. Mihaela Postelnicu as our Psychological & Ethical Development Advisor.

In a world that often prioritizes performance over purpose, Mihaela brings something rare: a soul rooted in values, compassion, and faith — and a heart dedicated to the emotional wellbeing of children, parents, and educators alike.

I’ve asked her to say a few words about her mission within Magliano Global, and this is how she introduced herself:

“I am a psychotherapist with experience working with teenagers, parents, and teachers. Within the Magliano Global project, I contribute as a Psychological & Ethical Development Advisor. My role is to support emotional growth, encourage empathetic communication, and provide a space for ethical reflection — for children, parents, and teachers — so that together, we can holistically nurture each child’s unique potential.”

We are truly grateful to walk this path with her.

Together, we rise — not just as teachers, but as mentors of the heart.

This video is not about perfection. It’s about connection. Emotion. And what truly matters in the act of music-making. In this footage: 🎻 Our violin mentor – improvising freely. 🎹 Myself – sight-reading the piano score. Sight-reading doesn’t always mean it’s your first time seeing the piece. Sometimes, it means you haven’t touched it in years. And yet… your hands remember. Your ears know. Your heart leads. Being a professional doesn’t mean playing flawlessly. It means feeling deeply. It means transmitting emotion. It means staying connected to your instrument – even when you’re not prepared. That is what makes the difference. This recording was made at the invitation of Bechstein Romania, in their breathtaking showroom – a space where the vibration of German instruments reaches straight into your soul. 🎻 Gabriel performs on a 300-year-old violin. 🎹 I play a high-end Bechstein – a piano whose value matches that of a modern apartment in Bucharest (approx. €57,000). A true gem – built not just for sound, but for soul. ✨ And yes – one such piano is also available in my Corbeanca studio, where I welcome children who wish to experience what it really means to feel a handcrafted German instrument. To explore, connect, and grow — note by note. 🎼 I’ll be in Romania (Corbeanca) until August 7th. 🎻 And Gabriel is also available during this time, by appointment.
