Constanta Maritime University is proud to be part of 𝐄𝐀𝐈𝐄 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 in Glasgow, joining the international higher education community in a dialogue about the future of universities, skills and global cooperation.

Today, the maritime domain is more important than ever. Maritime transport remains a backbone of global trade and economic security, while the seas and oceans are becoming increasingly interconnected with energy, digital infrastructure, communications, security and geopolitical resilience.

This new reality is also transforming maritime education.

At , we believe that educating the next generation of maritime professionals means going beyond traditional disciplines and integrating frontier technologies into education, research and training: Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity and cyber resilience, satellite technologies, autonomous and intelligent systems, digital twins, advanced communications and other emerging technologies.

The maritime professional of tomorrow will operate at the intersection of the physical, digital and space domains. Universities have a responsibility to prepare students not only for the technologies that exist today, but also for those that will shape the maritime sector over the coming decades.

We are particularly pleased to see a strong regional academic presence in Glasgow, with more than 37 universities from 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚 and the 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐨𝐯𝐚 participating in EAIE 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to strengthen international partnerships, develop new academic and research networks, and demonstrate the growing contribution of our universities to the European and global higher education landscape.

For CMU, internationalisation is not only about mobility. It is about building knowledge, technological capacity, resilience and partnerships for the future of the maritime world.

𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

Cargo handling, mooring, pilotage, terminal coordination, safety briefings and emergency response all depend on people from different roles and countries understanding one another clearly and quickly.

𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐂-𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐆 𝐏𝐥𝐮𝐬 is developing a practical digital learning ecosystem for 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡, designed specifically around the communication needs of port and shore personnel. Instead of separating vocabulary, listening and assessment, the course connects them through role-based modules, realistic operational scenarios, integrated audio and terminology support, progress tracking and structured assessment.

The partnership has already developed the shared curriculum, learning outcomes and profession-based content. Interactive scenarios and assessments are being integrated into the platform, while more than 1,000 collected maritime terms are being consolidated into a clearer multilingual glossary framework.
This is more than placing course materials online. It is about creating a learning experience that can support clearer ship–shore coordination, stronger communication confidence and better preparation for safety-critical operations.

Studenții si absolvenții Universității Maritime din Constanța au oportunitatea de a aplica pentru stagiile de cadeție în cadrul Anglo-Eastern Ship Management Hellas, destinate cadeților punte, mecanici și electricieni, și de a-și începe și dezvolta o carieră în domeniul maritim, cu perspective de promovare până la cele mai înalte funcții de ofițer maritim.

Pentru îmbarcările din perioada septembrie - decembrie 2026, sunt disponibile, pentru flota VLCC:
⚓ 10 locuri pentru cadeți punte;
⚙️ 10 locuri pentru cadeți mecanici.
🔌 Pentru cadeții electricieni, programul de practică este disponibil în regim continuu.

Flota companiei este alcătuită din petroliere moderne de tip VLCC și Suezmax Crude Oil Tankers, operate sub diverse pavilioane, inclusiv belgian, grec, portughez, liberian și Marshall Islands.

• Contracte cu durata flexibilă, între 4 și 6 luni;
• Salarii competitive pentru toate tipurile de nave din flotă;
