Why Normally open?
NO is normally used in the starting sequence and this condition can be set in parallel, Like this you can start the circuit from each point of activation.
Why Normally closed in a safety circuit?
NC is required in the safety circuit of an electrical installation due to the proper maintenance and safety of the equipment. In case of any button like emergency stop, stop buttons or white break the circuit will stop and stay protected.
NO or NC

“What am I doing here?” That was the question haunting me. 🤯

One day, I received the advice that changed my direction completely. That moment made a difference in my life. I started understanding how the systems work, which helped me get promoted easily. 🚀
I learned about diagrams, how systems work, and how to apply this information.

Ahoy, sailors! ⚓️
I have a surprise I've been working on for a while, and it could be super useful for you or your friends if you're just starting out or considering a career as a maritime electrician. 🛳️
Some of you already know me, while others are meeting me for the first time. My name is Alexandru Adochitei, and besides my job in the electrical field, I’ve developed a passion for inspiring future maritime electrical officers through education.
To start, let me share a bit about my background.
For me, college was pretty “optional.” I often showed up just 30 minutes before an exam. To be honest, I usually got a passing grade of 6, which was enough since I already had a fairly comfortable job. But one day, life, with its sense of humor, said: “You’re fired!” and my dream of an office job suddenly vanished. 😅
I found myself in a situation without money, and that was unacceptable to me. I felt awful and looked the part, but one day, I stood up and told myself: “It’s time to change something!” So, I started applying to crewing companies, one after another, week after week. After 6 months of knocking on closed doors and facing sharp rejections, all accompanied by sadness, frustration, and a lot of anger, I signed my first contract.
I was just starting out and knew that I didn’t know much. Although everyone was asking for experience, the formulas from college and other things didn’t seem relevant to the daily tasks. I had an older superior who wasn’t open to teaching me, and when something important came up, he would send me to check the lights that weren’t working. I was there to learn, to be trained, and to become proficient in that job, yet I only learned how to change bulbs.
I was so disappointed, criticized, and on top of that, I was told: “You’ll never become an electrical officer.” I didn’t know what the expectations were because no one ever told me. Despite this, I became more determined to prove that I would succeed. 🔥
After many failures, I discovered a way to understand how an installation works, which helped me identify and resolve defects more quickly. As a result, I managed not only to get the promotions I wanted but also to be appreciated for my work.
It worked so well that I tried it with my cadets. All those who worked with me got promotions and proved that they could work independently, managing excellently.
Regardless of where they started from—whether they were students or had graduated, whether they had theoretical basics or not, whether they were on their first or third contract—they all had spectacular results.
All of this made me choose differently, to avoid the pattern where I am the boss, and you know nothing, the pattern where I keep everything to myself to ensure that I stay in my position. From these experiences, I learned that it is much more satisfying to give and see how your help can change someone’s life. ❤️
My mission here is to help as many future electro-technical officers as possible to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to be prepared for situations that may arise on board, proving they are ready to move to the next level of becoming an electro-technical officer.
That's why I’ve prepared a Mystery Box for you... 🎁 What could it be??
