Reportaj exclusiv de la cea mai mare baterie din România. Cum poate stocarea să țină becul aprins în caz de criză energetică

Potrivit lui Sebastian Enache, pentru ca Sistemul Energetic Național „să fie stabil și să poată să furnizeze energie de calitate și la costuri rezonabile”, este nevoie de aproximativ 5.000 de MWh de stocare. În „Strategia energetică a României 2025 – 2035, cu perspectiva 2050”, varianta publicată de Ministerul Energiei în iunie 2024, autorii menționau că „obiectivul este de a avea o capacitate totală instalată de 1,5 GWh (adică 1.500 MWh – n.r) până în 2035 în cazul energiei electrice, atât în baterii, cât și în hidrocentrale cu acumulare prin pompaj.”
Ulterior, în varianta actualizată a Strategiei energetice, publicată în august 2024, Ministerul Energiei a mărit estimarea de capacitate necesară la cel puțin 2.000 MWh și a devansat termenul-limită până la care ea trebuie instalată (2030 în loc de 2035).

Sebastian Enache spune că viteza cu care se vor dezvolta noi unități de stocare în România „depinde de legislație”: „Depinde dacă taxarea stocării va fi adusă la normal. În momentul de față energia introdusă în baterie este taxată, energia scoasă din baterie este taxată. Cu taxa de transport și de distribuție. Bateria e văzută ca un consumator. Taxele de transport și distribuție se dublează: odată când bagi [electricitatea – n.r.] în baterie, după care când o livrezi. Energia se parchează, ea nu se consumă de baterie.”

I am excited to share a major milestone in our project journey - Mireasa Hybrid Power Plant with a Battery Storage capacity of 216MWh unit.

Back in April 2024, we proudly connected the largest Energy Battery Storage capacity in Romania to the National Grid.
This project represented the first stage of our ambitious plan to install a total of 216MWh storage capacity at the same location.

Fast forward to today, and we’ve made remarkable progress. The structural framework for stage 2 is up, the cooling equipment is now in place, and we’re nearing completion on other key components of the project.

Renewacad will be present at the Fifth meeting of the Partnership for Transatlantic Energy and Climate Cooperation (P-TECC)

The US Department of Energy, Romanian Ministry of Energy, and the Atlantic Council Global Energy Center host the fifth meeting of the Partnership for Transatlantic Energy and Climate Cooperation (P-TECC) on July 23-24, 2024 at Palace of the Parliament, Bucharest, Romania.

P-TECC is the pre-eminent vehicle for energy ministers and delegations from Eastern and Central Europe to address energy issues in Europe and forge cooperative paths towards a more diversified, clean, secure, and sustainable energy future for all. The Fifth Ministerial Meeting will focus on European energy security; industrial policy to advance clean energy from all sectors including renewables, hydrogen, and abated fossil energy; physical and cybersecurity of energy infrastructure; the advancement of geothermal energy as a largely untapped but potentially impactful solution for the region; and strategies to support the rebuilding of Ukraine’s energy sector.

This year’s meeting kicks off with a Business Forum and Alliance of Green Cities event on Tuesday, July 23. The Business Forum will provide an opportunity for CEOs and other high-level public and private industry leaders to discuss energy security, the energy transition, and infrastructure projects. The Alliance of Green Cities event will bring together regional and municipal political leaders with industry representatives to discuss how cities at the local level implement strategies to accelerate clean pathways and serve as laboratories for change at the national level. The Ministerial will take place Wednesday, July 24, and will focus on the important role of industrial policy in meeting our transatlantic energy security and climate goals. The Ministerial will also provide fora for discussion on fostering and enhancing solidarity among European countries and furthering coordination and cooperation on energy-related projects.

Monsson, principalul dezvoltator de proiecte de energie regenerabilă din piaţa locală, a încheiat un acord cu Nala Renewables, un joint-venture între Trafigura Group, una dintre cele mai mari companii independente de tranzacţionare de mărfuri din lume, şi fondul de investiţii IFM Net Zero Infrastructure Fund, pentru vânzarea unui parc fotovoltaic de 61 MW în judeţul Caraş-Severin.

„Suntem încântați să colaborăm cu Nala Renewables pentru acest proiect și să sprijinim activitățile lor în regiunea Europei Centrale și de Est. Monsson este dedicat rolului său în asigurarea unei tranziții echitabile către energia curată și a unui sistem energetic stabil. Toate proiectele noastre actuale includ soluții de stocare a energiei în baterii, deoarece viziunea noastră este că energia regenerabilă poate fi furnizată în bandă”, a declarat, la rândul său, Sebastian Enache, Head of M&A în cadrul Monsson.

- Florin Iov: is an Associate Professor at Aalborg University, AAU Energy, Denmark. His research areas cover: Modelling, simulation and control of renewable/hybrid energy systems; Power electronic converters for grid integration of renewable/hybrid energy systems; etc. He is author/co-author of 165+ papers published in international journals and conference proceedings; 50+ research reports available on the public domain.

- Sebastian Enache: is the Business Development Manager of Monsson Group, biggest renewable developers in Romania. He has more than 14 years of experience in wind industry consultancy, services, and company management. As co-founder of RESS - Renewable Energy School of Skills, in 2007, a Monsson company, Sebastian began his career in one of the first consultancy companies in renewable energy in Romania, coordinating more than 350 wind measurement campaigns all over Europe and designing more than 5400 MW of wind and pv farms.
