DID YOU KNOW...
That we are still expected to abstain on Fridays. While the Church removed the “no meat” requirement for Fridays with the exception of Lent, it did not do away with abstinence altogether.
We are still asked to honor the Lord by abstaining from something. It could be a favorite food item or it could be from a bad habit. It could even be from some activity, and use the time normally spent on that activity for prayer and reflection. The whole idea of the abstinence is to help us focus on our relationship with God.

Dear Brethren, this is to remind us of our meeting today by 4pm. pls be punctual........Also remember that today is Good friday, take time and reflect on the death of our Lord Jesus, and try to avoid the eating of meat today......thanks
