This is the oficial page for the 9th International Congress of Cognitive Psychotherapy

16/05/2019

The 10th International Congress of Cognitive Psychotherapy, sponsored by the International Association for Cognitive Psychotherapy (IACP), is going to take place in Rome (Italy) from the 18th to the 21st of June, 2020.

It is going to be a fantastic opportunity to gain a new perspective on the
science of CBT and its clinical practice while also visiting Rome, a place
with a unique cultural and historical heritage. The congress will be held at the Angelicum Convention Centre which is located exactly in the centre of Rome on an ancient site that dates back to 1569.

evolution/debates on the right track. In this article we have shown why CBT is the gold standard and what the limits of the existing gold standard and the ways to developments are.

Thank you!

Daniel David

P.S. A longer form of the article is under review elsewhere.

Why CBT is the Current Gold Standard of Psychotherapy Taking into account the number of publications/studies, academic programs, and/or practicing professionals, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is arguably the gold standard of the psychotherapy field. However, recently, some colleagues have argued for plurality in psychotherapy, questioning the stat...
