Our next storyteller, because that's what we like to call them. "Presenter" sounds a little too formal.
Some of you may remember Dominik from previous Horizons Unlimited Romania gatherings. To us, he's not just a returning storyteller; he's a friend who's been part of the Horizons Unlimited Romania family for years, and we're always happy to welcome him back. Every visit brings new adventures, great conversations, and stories worth sharing.
This year, Dominik is back with a different approach.

Marius Achim is one of our presenters who will also hold workshops at Horizons Unlimited Romania 2026. Over the years, he has traveled extensively both at home and abroad, often finding himself in remote places where, if something went wrong, he had to fend for himself. Out of pure necessity, he learned to fix mechanical issues using only what he had at hand. It's that classic, resourceful, typical Balkan skill where giving up is never an option and improvisation is key. Marius is bringing this exact real-world experience to the event with his short, hands-on course: Bushcraft Mechanics. If you want to learn how to repair a flat tire the classic, old-school way or find out how to solve sudden radiator leaks right on the side of the road, make sure to join us!

Stretching wasn't always part of our routine, but running changed that.
What started as a way to recover quickly became a habit we genuinely enjoy. The difference it makes is worth the time.

Meet Marius Achim. Saturday and Sunday morning, Marius will be hosting a special Yoga for Bikers session. If you are used to spending long, grueling hours in the saddle, you know exactly how stiff your back, hips, and shoulders can get.
Marius will guide us through specific movements and poses designed specifically for riders.
Whether you are a believer or a skeptic, don't miss this! Bring a mat or a towel, and join us on Saturday morning.

We all have that one friend who always finds a way to travel. You're never quite sure what he does for work, yet somehow he manages to disappear to the other side of the planet for months at a time, usually just as winter sets in.

This year was no exception. Continuing a tradition that's become something of an annual ritual, Marian spent time in Bali, Komodo, Flores, and Borneo. Along the way, he completed 128 scuba dives to depths of 43 m, 24 freedives to 27 m, hiked Mount Kinabalu (4,095 m), ran mountain trails, and, of course, explored countless places by motorcycle and scooter.

Yes, I'll admit it, I envy him!

At HU Romania 2026 , Marian will share how he makes all of this possible. I think it might be worth taking some notes. Who knows? Maybe we can all learn how to spend our winters a little differently.
