🧬 Meet Prof. Joanna Rorbach, our speaker for the “Translational Regulation and Protein Synthesis” subtopic at ICMB 2026!

After completing her PhD at Newcastle University and postdoctoral research at the University of Cambridge, Prof. Rorbach established her own research group and is now a Professor at the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm.

Her award-winning research focuses on mitochondrial gene regulation and its role in physiology and inherited mitochondrial disorders.

We are delighted to welcome her to ICMB 2026 and look forward to her insights into this exciting field! ✨🔬
