The Death of Dracula will be screened this week at the 11th pulzArt Festival in Sfântu Gheorghe!

The screening will take place as a live film concert, with original music performed by Miquéu Montanaro (flute), Christian Sebille (electronics), Gáspár Csaba (violin), Vitályos Lehel (double bass), and Paul Grosar (trumpet).

Following the screening, there will be a Q&A with composer Miquéu Montanaro.

Cu acompaniament muzical live, proiecția îi poartă pe spectatori înapoi în timp și spațiu, în universul filmelor mute. ⇢ „Moartea lui Dracula” – filmul mut original s-a pierdut în timpul celui de-al Doilea Război Mondial, însă studenții Universității Sapientia EMTE au reimaginat legenda pe baza romanului cu același titlu. Povestea se desfășoară între zidurile unui azil de psihiatrie, unde granița dintre vis și realitate se estompează între Mary – vizitatoarea – și Dracula – unul dintre pacienți...

🏆 A film elnyerte a múlt héten lezajlott trieszti I Mille Occhi (Ezer szem) filmfesztivál Cinema sul cinema (Films on film, Filmek filmekről) című nemzetközi versenykategóriájának fődíját. 🥇 Ugyancsak a múlt héten a Drakula halálát a moszkvai Festival of Films Regained nyitó-filmkoncertjként, Sonia Skobeleva zenei kíséretével mutatták be. 📽 Gratulálunk! 👏🏼

Death of Dracula vince il concorso Cinema sul cinema de I mille occhi - Horror Italia 24 l film vincitore della seconda edizione del Concorso Cinema sul cinema de I Mille occhi, cuore innovativo della rassegna, è Death of Dracula.

We are excited to announce that The Death of Dracula has been selected as the opening film of the Festival of Films Regained at GES-2 in Moscow.
• On 18 September, the festival will open with a screening of our film accompanied by a live improvisation concert by multi-instrumentalist Sonia Skobeleva.
• On 19 September, a second screening will feature the original soundtrack composed by Miquèu Montanaro, followed by a discussion with the composer on the creative process behind the music.
• On 20 September, the program continues with the presentation of the recently rediscovered masterpiece of Soviet silent cinema, My Son, accompanied by a live performance by Miquèu Montanaro, the composer of our film’s soundtrack.
