Transylvania College is proud to announce that with the start of this 2016 – 2017 academic year, excellence in education reaches a new level here at Transylvania College as we open the doors of the Transylvania College Leadership Academy. The Afterschool Clubs are now given a new identity, part of the new concept which focuses on children, teenagers and adults of any age with the aim of helping them develop a set of soft skills to use for life. The most important skill for the 21st century is the ability to continuously learn as this is the sole way to becoming a better and more prepared persona. As time is a democratic resource, it all depends on us how we use it to become a better and more efficient manager, doctor, lawyer, mother, husband, etc. The offer has over 25 clubs to choose from, in areas like culture, science, languages or sports, we aim to encourage lifelong learning interests, bring communities together and address fitness, health and nutrition topics. All activities from Transylvania CollegeLeadership Academy are structured, challenging, rewarding and tailored to individual needs, skills and development. Therefore, every member joining this club will soon develop a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, excellent communications skills, good time management skills, resilience, team spirit and self-confidence.
