🌍 A group of students from the Faculty of Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics and Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (UTCN) recently participated in the Erasmus BIP program “Renewable Energy Projects Management – 2nd Edition”, hosted by the University of Jaén, Spain.

Under the guidance of Associate Professor Dr. Eng. Ciprian Lăpușan and Assistant Professor Dr. Eng. Ioan Szabo, the 11 UTCN students collaborated in international teams with peers from Portugal and Spain, applying the Project-Based Learning (PBL) methodology in the field of renewable energy.

What did the students gain from this experience?

✔️ Technical expertise – a deeper understanding of energy systems and renewable energy integration;

✔️ Project management skills – practical application of scope, time, cost, and risk management concepts;

✔️ Analytical thinking – rigorous evaluation and assessment of energy projects;

✔️ Teamwork abilities – effective collaboration within multicultural teams.

This initiative reaffirms the university’s strategic commitment to internationalization and to educating specialists who are well prepared to address current challenges in energy, sustainability, and project management at the European level.

🎓✨ Congratulations to our three bachelor-level students from FIIRMP — Strajan Diana, Raul Sabău, and Anissia Trușcai — who received the prestigious EUT+ Label today! 🇪🇺

This distinction represents far more than the completion of a degree programme. It recognizes an international academic journey shaped by mobility, intercultural collaboration, and the European values fostered within the European University of Technology – EUT+ alliance.

🌍The achievements of these students reflect the very spirit of EUT+: openness, excellence, collaboration, and a truly European educational experience. We are proud to see our graduates embracing international opportunities and carrying these values forward into their future careers and communities. 👏
