The series of lectures of ESUDH C&T 2024 continues with a speech delivered by Roxana Patraș, Senior Researcher I (Cercetător științific at the Institute of Interdisciplinary Research, “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași I).
Main areas of research: the history of 19th-century European literature, literary theory, genre fiction, rhetoric, memory studies, and computational literary studies.

The opening speeches were delivered by Secretary of state in the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitalisation Andrei Alexandru, Vicerector Horea Poenar, Christian Schuster, Director of ESUDH C&T, Alexandra Cotoc, Scientific Director of ESUDH C&T and Elisabeth Burr, founder and director of ESUDH C&T (2009-2022). Darja Fiser, Executive Director of CLARIN ERIC and Agiatis Benardou, DARIAH-EU Director joined us online both for the opening address and the roundtable that followed.
