A pace for all the good moms that are DONE (being perfect & all over the place) and READY (to be their true selves).

I didn’t get the chance to take maternity leave with any of my kids. So, a few years ago, I decided to make up for it in some way: a different kind of maternity leave. One where I find the courage to do things I never thought I would.

A while ago, the idea of traveling with a camper occurred to me. I get these ideas sometimes, and I don’t really question them. I just know I need to follow them.

Traveling with the kids for three weeks in the summer in a camper… challenging. So, for spring break, I decided to take a first step. Just a few days. Because every big trip needs a first step.

I rented the camper… and suddenly, I found myself at the wheel. I felt exactly like I did the first time I ever drove: scared. My legs trembling. My heart racing.

And then the thoughts came—the ones I know so well: Ruxandra… just give up.

But I kept driving. I was kind to myself, the way I would be with one of my children.

It’s okay if you change your mind. It’s okay if you stop. And if you continue… maybe you’ll discover something beyond fear.

See how it all went in my new Substack article. The link is in the comments.

How many of you felt guilt-free while taking your maternity leave? Or perhaps work demanded so much of you that maternity leave never felt like an option at all?

I did not take maternity leave with any of my children. I was too busy with work back then. This year, I paused and wondered: what if I took it now? Would it be right? Would it be… possible?

On my new article on Substack, I wrote about what happened when I finally allowed myself that space: taking maternity leave this year in search of adventure, presence, and a deeper connection with my children and myself. Link in the comments.

If you had asked me five years ago whether a mother could find her courage in parenting, my stomach would have shrunk. Little did I know I would soon come face to face with courage.

Every day, I get to experience the difference between staying in fear and acting from that place — and the freedom I feel once I choose not to let fear lead the way.

Read my new article on Substack about how my children are learning to embrace courage on our adventure in Bali—and what it’s teaching me about parenting in spite of fear. Link in the comments.

A few years ago, I had a deep knowing: I want to take my family and travel around the world.

I wasn’t thinking I would do it alone. I didn’t think I could. A year ago was the first time I traveled alone in my country for a weekend. Then I went to retreats and courses with people I didn’t know. And now I am traveling with my four children, alone.

They are 16, 15, 12, and 5.

So many people told me:“It’s going to be hard.”

And this time… when I heard ”hard”, I didn’t take it in. Because I have a deep knowing — against opinions — that we can parent and live a life of ease, relaxation, and lots of fun. And yes… I hear the small voice that says: “You’re jinxing it. Come on. It can’t all be that easy.”

I traveled across the world — from Romania to Bali. And it was easy. Fears do come up. Last night I woke up thinking: “What if the boat we need to take sinks?”, “What if it’s hard with the luggage and we can’t find the hotel?”

My first article on Substack is the representation of the fact that we actually arrived just well and there was no need to worry about how hard it will be to get there on our own. Read more about our adventure in the comments.

Moms, we’re starting 2026 exactly the way we deserve: with joy, laughter, dancing, and a whole lot of self-love! 💛

You are invited to the White Party for Moms, an evening just for us, moms, where we dress in white from head to toe…

🤍 with one exception: your heels can be colorful!

We’re actually expecting a full mini-exhibition of fabulous heels and later, an equally impressive collection of comfy shoes. Because honestly… if we dance as much as I think we will, we’re all going to need them. 😄

DM me for the location details and registration link.

Dear moms,
If you’ve been keeping it all together — your family, your work, your life — but feel like something inside is missing… I see you. 💛

I just had to share this because my dear friend Vera Lengrand is hosting The Freedom Alchemy Retreat in Ubud, Bali, and it’s designed exactly for women like us: moms whose lives look perfect but don’t feel like theirs.

Six days of deep inner work, embodiment, and transformation. A space to release old patterns, reconnect with your body, reclaim your energy, and step fully into your life again.

The Freedom Alchemy Retreat is for you if:

* you have stability, but feel something is off
* you can’t fake excitement anymore
* you’re stuck in the “I need to / I should / I have to” loop
* you want freedom but fear losing safety
* money comes in, but doesn’t flow
* you’ve done inner work and still sense there’s more

📍 Ubud, Bali
📅 2–7 February 2026
Special Guest: Consuela Haralambie

If this speaks to you, send a private message to Vera, and she will give you all the information. 💫
