A fruitful learning experience
Laurine Menzel, Katharina Dethmer, Aljoscha Frick and Malte Herte, four German students from Köln, were the guests of Number 10 Kindergarden for theree weeks. The foreign students applied for an Erasmus programme in partnership with the Economic College in Buzau, and will be staying in Romania for six weeks. Katharina, Laurine, Malte and Aljoscha are second year students at the Berufskolleg Ehrenfeld College. After graduating they can become either a kindergarten teacher or an after school teacher in Germany. During their six weeks stay in Romania they are given the opportunity to observe the Romanian education system and take part in different activities in kindergartens, highschools and after schools. They also have the chance to travel and enjoy Romania’s beauty.
During the three weeks they spent in our kindergarten, the four students observed and got involved in the activities and games we played in all of the kindergarten classes from Number 10 Kindergarten and Pinochio Kindergarten. On the 19th of November 2015 each of them had to plan an activity and teach in one of our kindergarten’s classes. Their activities were evaluated by the German teacher: Mr. Jochen Knopp.
Katharina guided the five year old preschoolers from the Dwarfs’ Class and taught them how to make colorful pictures with the help of autumn leaves, using the stamping technique. The results were delightful.

Laurine worked with the smallest of our preschoolers, in the Flowers’ Class. She showed them different natural materials (autumn leaves, grass blades, flowers, sticks, stones of different shapes and sizes). The children observed them using their senses (sight, smell, touch and sound) and then they used the materials to make autumn pictures.

Aljoscha played with the 3 year old children in the Ants’ Class. They wrote a letter for the German preschool children about the way they spend their time in kindergarten, here in Romania and their favorite activities. The preschoolers signed the letter using their fingers dipped in paint and at the end of the activity they said a big ,,Hello!” to the children in Germany. This certainly was another colorful and joyful activity.

Malte’s activity took place in the five year old children’s class – the Butterflies’ Class. They painted an apple, using the butterfly technique (of course) – or the mirror - painting technique. The results of the activity were beautiful creative paintings, as the preschoolers were free to use their imagination and colors as they liked. A little boy painted a black apple that had the shape of a cube, another preschooler made an apple with butterfly shaped seeds, huge apples, apples in autumn colors and many more; all the pictures were fantastic and were positively appreciated by the preschoolers and the teachers.

In the end, all of the four students got really good marks: A and B+. The German education system is very different from the Romanian one. Mr. Jochen Knopp stated that this was a difficult task for the German students. The time they got for observing the children was short and the language differences made things even more difficult.
Both the German students and we, the kindergarten teachers, had a lot to learn from this exchange of experience. In Germany, the kindergarten classes normally have 20 children, just like our classes in Romania, but each class has 2 teachers caring for the children from morning till 4 or 5 p.m. The classes that have children under 3 years of age, will usually have 10 children. The classes that have 3 to 5 year old children are mixed classes, so that the younger children get to learn from the older ones. In Germany, one of the main tasks of a kindergarten teacher is observing the children. The teacher also has to discover the child’s preferences and interests and organize specific and personalized activities. The German preschoolers have more freedom of movement and action and, the teachers will always encourage and stimulate as much as possible the children’s creativity and autonomy. They will help the children discover their own answers to the questions they have, and solve a task in their own particular way. Respecting the kindergarten and the class rules in order to be safe is also an important thing to learn in a German kindergarten.
Although the German students are now taking part in activities in other locations, the friendship ties that were formed during their stay here are strong, so they promised us to return to Number 10 Kindergarten before they leave for Germany (December 23rd). This way both us and the preschool children can say good bye and wish them a”Merry Christmas!” .This article is a way to thank them again for this special experience and offer them our best wishes. We hope that Romania and our kindergarten will remain dear to their hearts, a warm memory with the scent of cinnamon and fir tree.

Grădinița cu Program Prelungit Nr. 10 ”Ciupercuța” vă așteaptă într-un sediu nou, ultramodern, cu finisaje de o calitate excepțională, pe strada Poet T Neculuță, la numărul 30.
Dispunem de:

- sală de mese decorată în nuanța marsala;
- grupuri sanitare noi, moderne, adaptate preșcolarilor;
- cabinet metodic;
- cabinet medical;
- cabinet logopedic și de consiliere;
- curte spațioasă dotată cu jucării de exterior ( căsuță, tobogane, balansoare din material plastic, inofensive pentru copii).
Cei peste 150 de copii care ne calcă pragul în fiecare dimineață pătrund într-un mediu familial, securizat, igienic și sănătos, unde copilăria este la ea acasă.
Ne mândrim cu oferirea unui Curriculum amplu și echilibrat, care asigură desfășurarea unor activități la standarde înalte.
La Grădinița cu Program Prelungit Nr. 10 “Ciupercuța” copiii sunt pregătiți într-un sistem educațional de elită, ce reunește programa clasică de studiu propusă de M.E.C.S. și un pachet de opționale adaptat celor mai înalte standarde de exigență.
Copiii beneficiază de atenție sporită pentru că numărul acestora într-o grupă variază între 15 și 25; dascălii sunt riguroși, dar și moderni, iar facilitățile întrec și cele mai exigente așteptări.
La Grădinița cu Program Prelungit Nr. 10 “ Ciupercuța”, preșcolarii beneficiază de o gamă largă de activități, din toate domeniile, atât cu valoare instructiv-educativă, cât și recreativă.
Preșcolarii noștri sunt pregătiți de pedagogi cu experiență în domeniul educațional și în special cu dragoste și afecțiune pentru copii. Fiecare pedagog are rolul de mediator, de educator și de formator, stimulând potențialul de învățare al fiecarui copil în parte. Astfel, ei reprezintă un adevărat model pentru copii, deoarece cred atât în excelență, în inovație, cât și în responsabilitatea actului educațional.

O GRĂDINIȚĂ DE NOTA 10!

Dezvoltarea personală, socială și emoțională a copiilor nostri ocupă un loc important în educație. De aceea îi motivăm și le oferim copiilor posibilitatea de a–și exprima interesele, aspirațiile, dorințele, pregătindu-i pentru o viață în permanentă schimbare.

Am pregătit pentru copilul dumneavoastră un Univers în care învățarea și achizițiile se întâmplă natural, procesul educational apelând în principal la joc, concomitent cu metode alternative de învățare, non-formale, informale și experimentale.

Vă invităm să intrați într-o lume a copilăriei liniștită, plină de jocuri și veselie, un loc cu totul special, unde se leagă multe prietenii. Un mediu în care copilul își dezvoltă abilitatea de a munci în echipă și de a respecta anumite reguli.

Fiecare copil trebuie încurajat să aibă încredere în el, să își învingă teama și emoțiile. Printr-o atitudine afectuoasă, dar și responsabilă, educatoarea ajută la formarea armonioasă a personalității copilului.

Abia așteptăm reîntâlnirea cu voi, dragi preșcolari din grupele ”Fluturași”, „Furnicuțe” și „Albinuțe”!

Mâine îi vom întâmpina cu dragoste și căldură pe prichindeii din grupa ”Floricele”, care pășesc pentru prima dată în minunata lume a jocului și a copilăriei la Grădinița Ciupercuța!
