"How far is Europe " is a youth exchange in frame of 3.1 action.The project gathers 45 youngsters and leaders from 8 countries from Romania,Belgium,Greece,Latvia,Armenia,Georgia,Moldova and Ucraina.The project takes place for 7 days ( plus 2 travel days ) in Busteni - Romania in may 2014 . The aim of the project is to aware youngsters about the importance of increasing awareness of european citiz
enship and intercultural diversity. The methods are based on intercultural and experiential learning and use different workshops , visits , presentations , intercultural nights , games and exercises.The main method is debate starting with round table debates , pros and cons debate and ending with a world school debate competition. The project intends to include 12 youngsters with fewer opportunities from disadvantaged rural areas : poor villages and isolated places that give less possibilities to youngsters to meet other cultures.
