A photo taken on a phone. A familiar park.
A few digital shifts — and suddenly, reality no longer feels so stable.

🟣Trace of Evidence without an Event, created by Alina Vuxanovici together with Zoran Vuxanovici, shows how everyday images can become something uncertain, cinematic and open to interpretation.

Using only accessible tools — a smartphone, Negative Camera and CapCut — they transformed ordinary visual material into a work that makes you pause and ask: are we seeing evidence, or are we inventing the story ourselves?

Because a project does not have to stay inside your phone, your laptop or your studio.
And you have a shot to put your creative ideas out there - at Dâmbovița Delivery ✨

What happens when an image feels like proof, but the event behind it never fully appears? 📍

🟣 Trace of Evidence without an Event, a TECA collaborative project by Alina Vuxanovici, with Zoran Vuxanovici, starts from this tension: our instinct to connect fragments, interpret traces and build meaning from uncertainty.

Using photographs taken in a Romanian public park, the work transforms familiar landscapes through inverted colours, digital distortion and slow video sequencing. What begins as something recognisable becomes unstable, almost forensic, but never fully explainable. 📸

The result is a photo-video installation that invites the viewer to stay with doubt — between perception, projection and the stories we create when images refuse to give us clear answers.

Through TECA, digital tools become more than production methods. They become ways of questioning how we see.

What remains when a memory keeps shifting? 🔃

In One day, her house was empty, Letiția Popa builds a fragile space between image, object, sound and presence - where projection passes through embroidery, transparent walls hold traces, and personal archives become something unstable, intimate and almost ghost-like.

This is a work about houses, families, histories and the quiet things they leave behind.
But it is also a work about process: about collaboration, coordination, performance, travel, production choices and learning to trust uncertainty.

A memory does not always stay still.
Sometimes, it flickers.
Sometimes, it passes through lace.
Sometimes, it becomes a room you can almost enter.

Some memories do not stay in archives.
They stay in rooms. In gestures. In silences passed from one generation to another. 🫂

🟣 One day, her house was empty 🟣 a TECA collaborative project by Letiția Popa, explores the traces left behind by surveillance, political oppression and inherited family trauma in former Communist Romania.

Through transparent plexiglass walls, archival fragments, personal recordings and fragile projections, the installation becomes a space where memory is not fixed, but shifting — ghostly, layered and difficult to hold.

It asks us to look again at what history leaves behind. Not only in documents. But in homes. In bodies. In families.

In TECA, technology becomes more than a tool. ✨
It becomes a way to make memory visible, fragile, alive and impossible to ignore.

The first TECA collaborative projects are heading to Maker Faire Sarajevo 2026.

On June 6, FabLab B&H will host the 5th Maker Faire Sarajevo at Vila Braun — a meeting place for makers, artists, educators, engineers, students, hobbyists, researchers and technology enthusiasts.

We’re happy to announce the first two selected TECA collaborative projects that will be featured there:

✨Trace of Evidence Without an Event
by Alina & Zoran Vuxanovici
Romania / Serbia
Photo-video installation, digital post-processing, 2026
A work about perception, ambiguity and the human need to build meaning from fragments. Through digitally processed photographic imagery, inverted colours, glitch aesthetics and a slow video structure, the project creates a space that feels both familiar and unstable — where perception, projection and uncertainty remain in tension.

✨ One Day, Her House Was Empty
by Letiția Popa
Romania / Bosnia and Herzegovina
Artistic critique: Marina Krsmanović Savić
This installation looks at how the legacy of authoritarian regimes remains inscribed into domestic space. Through found footage, archival material, fictional reenactments, personal narratives, plexiglass walls, lace curtains and spatial sound, the work explores memory, loss, resistance and women’s intimate experiences during and after the communist regime in Romania.

Both projects show what TECA is about: artists from different countries meeting through ideas, critique, technology and shared artistic research.
See you in Sarajevo on June 6.

🟣 Last day to apply to TECA Collaborative Projects Call
And no, it doesn’t have to be perfect.

It can be a diploma project, a half-finished artwork, a digital sketch, a concept you saved for “later”, or an idea that has been quietly waiting for the right context.

Through TECA, you can share your work with artists from Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina or Serbia, receive honest artistic feedback, exchange drafts and thoughts, and refine your project step by step.

Selected projects will have the chance to be showcased internationally, including at Maker Faire Sarajevo and other exhibitions in Serbia and Romania.

So maybe today is the day your “later” idea finally becomes something real.
