„Holistic Marketing Management” Journal was launched at the end of March 2011, as part of the 20th Anniversary events of the Romanian-American University, and as a tribute to Pofessor Ion SMEDESCU, the founding-president of the Romanian-American University, who was also the creator of the School of Management-Marketing and the spiritual father of an entire generation of young teachers committed to
constant and coeherent efforts of putting into practice outstanding marketing management ideas. „Holistic Marketing Management” Journal (HMM) invited from the very beginning to the right conversation and action, by looking at the whole business system within increased customer demands for relevance and value, by building relationships through multiple channels, while re-thinking the journey that never ends of the holistic marketing management, considering the shift in the expectations of customers as the main source of marketing wisdom and strategic marketing insight. HMM is seen as an innovative project management being a true proper way of managing change by developing innovative solutions, knowing that the best transformation is only through an improved understanding of how people interpret their environment and choose to act, bridging the gap between top management and the hole organization by building hope and conviction. HMM is designed to stimulate holistic thinking as a type that allows people to consider the whole and the beginning of understanding that anything in life is interconnected, especially within the evolution of technologies and increased convergence between various disciplines contributing to break down the “knowledge wall”.
