Master of Applied Finance (MAF) - Admission 2019!

Introduction of our program, Master of Applied Finance (MAF) complements the university curricula with a training program focused on acquiring technical competence in applied finance and foster a deeper understanding of how the instruments function and financial market operates. The knowledge, skills and abilities developed within the Program will offer graduates a tangible professional career benefit.

The team of Faculty of Finance and Banking students from The Bucharest University of Economic Studies will take part in the regional phase of the "CFA Institute Research Challenge" that will take place in Zurich, Switzerland
on April 10-11

During 3rd – 7th DECEMBER 2018, Prof. ERICH WALTER FARKAS, UNIVERSITY OF ZURICH, will be in Bucharest and present our students the Quantitative Finance Courses.

The European Central Bank has launched a new traineeship campaign for Traineeships in Microprudential Oversight, DG Microprudential Supervision III. We are looking for candidates with a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, law, accounting, engineering or another relevant discipline, together with an interest in bank-related risk analysis and the implementation of financial regulation. A master’s degree or equivalent qualification (either completed or close to completion) in finance, economics, business administration, law, accounting, engineering or another relevant discipline is desired.
