I WON! I'm the 2024-25 (bi-annual) "Outstanding Family Life Educator" award! It's an international award through the National Council on Family Relations, the top credentialing organization and publisher of 3 top family science research journals! I’m so excited! I’ve been nominated for the Outstanding Family Life Educator Award through the National Council on Family Relations! NCFR is an international membership association of professionals committed to quality research-based family life education. I will let you know if I win, but I was truly blessed by what the nomination application and the four letters of recommendation said, including the presidents of two other professional organizations with whom I serve in leadership positions. I don’t get paid for the many hours I volunteer each month, so these “emotional paychecks” really mean a lot.
