About us

The Center conducts world class research on the applications of psychology to human behavior, including cutting edge efforts on Artificial Intelligence.

Our group is diverse and involved in a variety of psychological and trans-disciplinary studies. We conduct research on social media, applications of evolutionary psychology, artificial intelligence / machine learning, health apps, or prevalence of mental illness, among others.

Social Media permeates many aspects of our lives. We aim to better understand its positive and negative effects on the human psyche.

We aim to better understand what mental disorders are, in light of the evolutionary characteristics of our species.

We are testing AI's capability to predict various human behaviors, such as consumer choices or psychopathology.

The ubiquity of smartphones and other hand-held devices makes testing the therapeutic efficacy of mobile health apps imperative.

We are working on estimating the prevalence of mental disorders in various populations, such as general, corporate or the military.

Our group is also involved in other research areas, such as ergonomics, aggressive driving, or adverse childhood experiences.

Besides academic endeavors, the Center also provides consulting services to interested parties, both in the public and private sector.

We bring the expertise of top researchers on human behavior, who can work with you to help you reach your business or personal goals.
