We are incredibly proud to celebrate our brilliant student, Mircea H., who represented the International School of Bucharest as part of Team Romania at the inaugural International Business and Finance Olympiad (IBFO) 2026 in Bucharest.

Competing against talented students from eight countries, Team Romania secured 3rd Place after analysing a real-world business case, developing strategic financial recommendations, and presenting their solutions to a distinguished panel of academic and industry judges.

This accomplishment reflects not only academic excellence, but also critical thinking, teamwork, and the confidence to perform on an international stage.

From ISB Classroom to King's College London 🇬🇧

Some journeys are measured by grades. Others are measured by the lives they touch.

With 41/45 points in the IB Diploma Programme, Evelin I. has achieved both. The IB inspired her to think beyond a single discipline, building resilience, leadership, and a lifelong love of learning.

As ISB's Head Girl and the founder of Hands of Hope, our student volunteer centre, Evelin left a lasting mark on the ISB community through her compassion, initiative, and commitment to serving others.

Now, she begins an exciting new chapter, studying Biochemistry at King's College London.
