And with this trip to the park and creative activities we are going to take a little break. ⭐
It was a really beautiful summer full of discoveries, new friendships and a lot of play.
We are going to be back in September with new adventures. Until then immerse yourself in real play and you will feel that time is not the same. 🤍

Last week, we celebrated Romanian Aviation Day and everyone loved the activities. Many kids started to be more curious and wanted to know more about airplanes. Conclusion: you get to know about your passions and interests by reading and exploring, being open and curious.

Did you know that a simple trip with peers can improve self esteem, cognitive function and social skills? 🔍

Preschool children have the opportunity to make their voice heard in another environment, they experienced being outside their comfort zone/ safe spaces.
Outdoor activities are firing the brain: improve attention, concentration and creativity.
Being in nature improves awareness and attention.
Different pairs every time- so the kids can find out more about one another. 🧑‍🤝‍🧑

Today we explored France, learning about their Eiffel tower, their baguettes, croissants and passion for painting.

Aujourd'hui, nous avons célébré la Journée Nationale de la France et les enfants de l'Ècole Montessori Orizonturi Libere ont été très heureux de se connecter avec la culture française à travers quelques activités spécifiques.
Nous souhaintos aussi à nos amis français: Joyeuse Fête Nationale! 🤗

Yes, actually we have: a lot of play, nature exploration- speaking about and touching insects, reading, crafts and of course parties 🎉.

Accepting and protecting insects comes from a positive experience.
So often children thrive on:
- knowledge,
- exploration,
- stories,
- opportunities to overcome their fears.
Here, we start from acknowledging the fears, offering support, kindness, and a peaceful moment. We are also controlling our reactions, giving short explanations about what insects are doing for the environment.
Positive information is very helpful. Then, if other children are touching insects without any kind of fear, there is a guaranteed success. :)
A little bit of humor is always a good trick. 🤍🦗🐛🐞🐜🐝🕸️

Last week was one of the most intense weeks we can have for the end of the school year.
It was about saying goodbye, gathering together, celebrating this amazing period: childhood.

We asked the kids that are going to school soon, what did Montessori 'Orizonturi Libere' mean for them? What is kindergarten associated with?
Their answers were heartwarming. They said that our space was about:

💑friendship,
📚learning,
🫂trust and peace🙏.

We feel that our mission as teachers is accomplished!
We are really proud of every child and the entire community! And here, once again, we thank all our families for their trust and willingness to work together so well.
