On March 8-9, we had the pleasure of welcoming 14 universities and over 150 participants, students, coaches, and arbitrators, to the Bucharest Pre-Moot & Conference 2025 at the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest. We gathered universities from Romania, Moldova, Germany, Italy, Poland, and Switzerland. It was a fantastic weekend filled with advocacy, legal debates, and meaningful connections, all in preparation for the Vis Moot.

Less than *5 days* left before the Bucharest Pre-Moot 2025.

Let's meet the organizing committee!

Raluca Papadima and Gherghe are our Academic Directors and long-time coaches of the Willem C. Vis Moot University of Bucharest team. They are the organizers of the Pre-Moot conference and showcase and the masterminds behind everything (UB) Vis Moot-related. You may find them as arbitrators and speakers this weekend.

Cristina Badea and Diaconescu are our Logistical Directors. They also go by the name of [email protected]. Cristina and Cezara handled the communications with the participants, the social venues (*to be announced tomorrow*) and all the visuals.

Rusu and Kober are our Hearings Directors, who crafted the pairings with care and thought for the best outcomes. They are also coaches of the University of Bucharest's Vis Moot team and also sanity checkers for Cristina and Cezara on the workings of the Pre-Moot.

Petra Rusu and Bodescu are students in this year's Vis team, who also volunteered their time and remaining energy in the Pre-Moot logistics. From coordinating volunteers, to helping with a Canva design, our Student Directors are a great addition to the Organizing Committee.

The 6th Bucharest Pre-Moot has started! We hope everyone has enjoyed our conference on the topics of this year’s Willem Vis Problem!

1. Deadline for registration: December 15, 2018

2. Registration: just send an e-mail to [email protected] and somebody from our organizing team will shortly confirm your registration

3. March 1, 2018: Conference for the participants (around 6 PM, GMT+2).

4. March 2-3, 2018: 6 rounds of pleadings (depending on the number of participating teams and arbitrators).

5. The final ceremony (where, upon acceptance from the teams, we will anounce the final rankings and hand the diplomas) will end at approximately 4 PM (GMT+2).
