🌍 We have the pleasure to share with you Panel 4 “Securing the Black Sea: NATO’s Eastern Frontier and the Future of Regional Stability”.

🗺The Black Sea has emerged as a central arena of strategic competition, where NATO’s eastern frontier meets a complex mix of military, political, and economic pressures. Russia’s ongoing aggression against Ukraine, the militarization of the region, and the growing use of hybrid tactics have underscored both the vulnerabilities and the importance of the Black Sea to Euro-Atlantic security. At the same time, the region is a hub for energy routes, trade, and connectivity, linking Europe to the Caucasus and beyond.

🏛For NATO and its partners, the challenge lies in deterring threats, reinforcing defense posture, and fostering cooperation without escalating instability. This panel will examine the evolving security dynamics of the Black Sea, NATO’s strategic priorities on its eastern flank, and the pathways to building lasting stability in a region critical to Europe’s future.
