A great symbol of the early history of commercial banking in Romania, Brătianu Business Center entered our property portfolio in 2011. Global Vision carefully restored it keeping the original neoclassical architecture and baroque accents.
The historical monument located at the junction of I.C. Brătianu Boulevard and Doamnei Street is a business center totalizing 3 400 sq. m. of commercial and office areas.
The history of the building begins in the 20th Century when the Rural Land Bank commissioned architect Paul Smărăndescu to design a new and classy property for its headquarters in Romania, initially named “Societatea Creditul Rural”.

What do Wieliczka salt mine, the Fountain on the Main Market Square in Krakow, Singapore Changi Airport, the Oslo Opera House, an aircraft maintenance hangar, Ferrari World from Abu Dhabi, Shakespeare Theater from Gdansk and Global Vision ‘s Bratianu Business Center all have in common?
Probably your wild guess after reading the first two named sites would be their location in Poland. Well indeed it had something to do with all: providing to all sites locally manufactured energy saving lighting systems!

Paul Smarandescu placed his work in strategic places across Bucharest but Bratianu Business Center has the most privileged location of all! In addition to that Global Vision outlined each and every detail of neoclassical and baroque accents in the refurbishment process. One of the used techniques hides in the architectural lighting that gives a lively expression to the building.
