But currently there are competing ideas going around such as medical acupuncture, tcm, esoteric acupuncture, energy work etc. The IOC Daoland program reconstructed the premodern agenda of learning and adapted it to our modern life. We focus on what were the essentials in premodern times, and to do so we have now a practice based program structured around 16 modules full time study, but strategically timed. the program contains:
studies of science, sociology, antropology, history
basic Daoist medicine theoris or anatomy of organs, channels points
yijing counselling as a precursor to diagnosis
food medicine as a precursor to herbal medicine
mobilistion massage for health and recovery
anti aging acupuncture and massage for face and body (including overweight)
dry needling (a-shi) for pain management
neidan meditation and 3rd level daoyin study
choice in 13 accessoiry skills in wudang taiji gongfu, breathwork,
qigong, yoga and others to support people in their general health development

Although the study is 2 years, the aim is to let you earn some income within 6 months of the start of your course. The Bacheor porogram certifies you as a specialist in health management with chinese medicine. Follow up clinical studies and others ar taking place in the Master program.
