For the current issue of the Euro-Atlantic Resilience Journal, we aim to illustrate the importance of the sea for almost every aspect of resilience, so much so that maritime resilience might become a legitimate field of study, similarly to the wide-ranging concept of societal resilience. We welcome contributions that have either a thematic approach (e.g. the resilience of critical infrastructures) or a geographical focus (e.g. an overview of the resilience of several domains in the Black Sea Region).
We welcome contributions covering several important topics, of particular relevance in the present context:
- Lawfare at sea, with particular focus in the South China Sea and the Eastern Mediterranean
- Resilience to sea-borne migration, with focus on the Mediterranean and the Black Sea
- Resilience to disasters with a maritime component
- Maritime resources to bolster the resilience of the energy sector
- The resilience of maritime supply chains
- Satellite technology to bolster the resilience of maritime systems
We welcome submissions ranging from 3000 to 6000 words (excluding bibliography), at [email protected]. Please consult the Information for Authors, including the Journal style sheet and other useful information:
