The international summer school will take place between 24–28 August 2026, at the Romanian Black Sea coast, and will focus on the theme: “𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬: 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡, 𝐀𝐈 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 – 𝐀𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡”.

This summer school is structured as a 5-day intensive interdisciplinary programme, combining: academic lectures, hands-on workshops, applied debates, team-based activities and networking events!

🇮🇹 The Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Dental Medicine within the “Titu Maiorescu” University of Bucharest are participating these days in a new ERASMUS+ mobility programme held at the Università degli Studi di Bari Aldo Moro, Italy, represented by Associate Professor Minerva Claudia Ghinescu and Professor Raluca Monica Comaneanu, Associate Professor Oana Botoacă, Assistant Professor Ioana Lescai.

🇮🇹 The programme is carried out with the support and collaboration of Professor Francesco Inchingolo, contributing to the development of the international academic and professional relations between Titu Maiorescu University and the Università degli Studi di Bari “Aldo Moro”, a partnership strengthened over time through exchanges of experience, teaching activities and interdisciplinary dialogue.

🇮🇹 In the coming days, the academic staff members will hold educational activities and share their professional expertise with students and colleagues from the Università degli Studi di Bari “Aldo Moro”!

🇹🇷 Academic exchange, professional growth and unforgettable cultural experiences in Istanbul!

🇹🇷 During the Erasmus+ mobility program at Haliç University, Lect. Florentina Bealcu (R.N, PhD) from the Faculty of Medicine, Titu Maiorescu University participated in teaching activities, professional exchanges, and intercultural experiences alongside students and academic staff from the Faculty of Health Sciences.

🇹🇷 The mobility focused on topics such as nursing education, patient care, medical communication, SBAR methodology, clinical practice, and professional development in healthcare. Beyond the academic activities, the experience created valuable opportunities for future international collaborations, exchange of ideas and scientific partnerships between the two universities.

🇹🇷 Istanbul also offered an incredible cultural perspective, from the vibrant university environment to the historical beauty of the city, its traditions, diversity and hospitality.

🇹🇷 This Erasmus+ experience highlighted the importance of international cooperation in education, healthcare and research, while proving once again that meaningful connections are built through knowledge, collaboration and mutual respect!

🇹🇷 Prof. Hatice YORULMAZ (Haliç University, Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine), who shared her expertise in Physiology with our students at the Faculty of Medicine;

🇹🇷 Asst. Prof. Hilal ADİL AKKAYA (Uşak University, Faculty of Medicine), who delivered an insightful lecture on "Neurophysiology: Learning and memory processing";

🇹🇷 Asst. Prof. Murat GENÇ (Istanbul Medipol University, Head of the Erasmus+ Office), who engaged our students from the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Communication and International Relations with the topic "Comparative Western and Non-Western Politics and Administrative Traditions";

🇵🇱 Prof. Bogdan STANKOWSKY (Jesuit University Ignatianum in Krakow, Poland), who joined the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Communication and International Relations to discuss the sensitive and vital topic: "The Pain of Exclusion of Socially Maladjusted Minors in Youth Educational Centres (YECs)."

🤝 A heartfelt thank you to our guests for their contribution and for bringing a global perspective to our lecture halls!

🌍 The Open Doors Day at TMU transformed our campus into a vibrant space of knowledge and creativity. High school pupils, undergraduate and master’s students had the opportunity to explore the university’s modern facilities, discover this year’s educational offer and the wide range of benefits provided by TMU, as well as interact directly with the students and professors who bring this community to life.

🌍 During the event, participants also learned more about the Erasmus+ programme, the English-taught study programmes and the international Erasmus mobility opportunities available for studying abroad.

🌍 We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this project: the faculty deans, professors and students, who were the most authentic and enthusiastic ambassadors, and of course the student associations and federations, who brought colour, energy, and so much joy!

🇫🇷 A special event dedicated to Francophonie at TMU

👩🏻‍💻 Yesterday, at Titu Maiorescu University, the meeting
“Francophonie – a space for dialogue, mobility, and international openness” took place—an event that brought together French-speaking students and academic staff in a valuable discussion about educational opportunities and international cooperation.

👩‍🏫 Under the coordination of Professor Smaranda Angheni, Vice President and Director of the Francophone Association at TMU, participants explored the perspectives offered by the Francophone space, academic mobility, and the importance of international openness in professional development.

🌍 The event was a real success, marked by engagement, interest, and constructive exchanges of ideas.

✨ Erasmus Open Doors at the Faculty of Economic Sciences UTM!

📚 First-year students from the Faculty of Economic Sciences had the opportunity to discover the Erasmus Programme and everything it brings — from application documents and the selection process to green travel tips and amazing destinations waiting to be explored.

🌍 Welcome to our academic community! This week, we had the pleasure of hosting the 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 for our incoming Erasmus students joining Titu Maiorescu University for the second semester!

📚 Our new students are joining the Erasmus group that have been with us since the beginning of the academic year, expanding our community at the Faculties of Medicine, Psychology, Informatics, Education Sciences, Communication and International Relations.

💻 It was a day full of smiles and new connections. We kicked things off with a fun ice-breaker activity to get to know each other better, followed by presentations about the beauty of Romania, the vibrant life in Bucharest and everything you need to know about student life at Titu Maiorescu University.

🤍 We also explored the university facilities during a campus tour and shared a special piece of Romanian culture: the tradition of 𝐌𝐚̆𝐫𝐭̦𝐢𝐬̦𝐨𝐫! Each student received a traditional Mărțișor to mark the beginning of spring.

🍀 Huge thanks to everyone who brought such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We wish you all the best of luck in your studies and an amazing experience here!
