Romania’s attitude after 2014, and especially after February 2022, is a pleasant surprise, at least for me. I’ve been closely following the relations between Bucharest and Kyiv since the breakup of the Soviet Union. The tensions between the two countries were mostly artificial and were largely the result of manipulations, from which Moscow was no stranger.
