Dr. Ovidiu Constantin Tudor graduated as a dentist in 1995 from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Carol Davila” in Bucharest, Romania. He specialized as general practitioner after 3 years of training 1997-2000 Residency Program. Sincer 2014, he has been a lecturer for Megagen( ) system R2Gate guided surgery - One Day implant concept. In 2000 he opened his own private practice in Bucharest, Romania, ever since maintaining and focusing exclusively on combinations of smile design, aesthetic dentistry, oral surgery and prosthetic rehabilitation.

In a dentistry world more and more digitally approached, with step back treatment plans, the clinician has to choose the best choices in order to achieve tissue stability around implants. "Tooth or implant" is often the question, but why not "tooth and implant"?
One of the modern approaches of preserving the tissue around a compromised tooth, with or without implant placement, is the partial extraction therapy - PET.
During his lecture, Dr. Ovidiu Tudor we will analyse the biologic aspects of periodontium and emergence profile related to the partial extraction therapy, clinically shown. Don't miss it!

Dr. Ezio Gheno is a dental implantology and oral surgical expert from Somma Lombardo Varese, Italy , and author of several bone regeneration papers. As a lecturer and academic, Dr. Gheno has held a variety of positions throughout Italy and the United Kingdom. In addition to research, teaching and lecturing engagements, Dr. Gheno is well versed in direct patient care having served as a staff doctor at the maxillofacial surgery department at Niguarda Hospital in Milan.
In 1985 graduate from the University of Pavia with a degree in Medicine and Surgery, Dr. Gheno furthered his postgraduate studies at the University of Modena.

Autologous growth factors present themselves as the new frontier to support all surgical treatments aimed at restoring the tissues that need regeneration. The use of CGF (Concentrated Growth Factors) in association with appropriate surgical techniques is a performing procedure in regenerative and reconstructive therapy. CGF is a blood concentrate capable of retaining autologous growth factors and blood cells and promoting bone regeneration. It can be used alone or together with other materials as a filler or as a support for synthetic and biological membranes. It will be also presented a new device: Sticky Bone Preparation Device.

Dr. Fonzar was born in Gorizia in 1959 . He graduated Cum Laude in 1986 in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Trieste and in 1989 earned his specialization in Dentistry and Prosthodontics at the University of Pisa.
Over the last 30 years, Dr. Fonzar has specialized in Periodontology, Implantology and Prosthodontics, becoming one of the top European experts in his field. He is an active member and a past President of The Italian Society of Periodontology (S.I.d.P.).

Although they very different, the response of teeth and implants to bacterial infection is strikingly similar. Surgical management of the soft tissues around prosthetic abutments and around implants is therefore often essential to create a morphology that allows good home plaque control, a prerequisite for long-term success. No less important is the management of soft tissue for aesthetic purposes, such as covering root and peri-implant recessions, reducing physiological post-extraction volume reduction or correcting defects in denture saddles.
The aim of the lecture is, by means of slides and videos, to provide participants with the essential theoretical and clinical knowledge to manage soft tissue around teeth and implants in an effective, simple and predictable way.

Dr. Mihnea Cafadaru graduated in 2007 from the "Victor Babeș" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Timișoara. Subsequently, he began intensive training in dental implantology and periodontology. In 2008, he completed his specialization in Oral Implantology, under the supervision of Professor Bratu Emanuel. In 2013, he launched a new project in Arad called Dental Clinique Dr. Cafadaru, the dental clinic specialized in dental implantology, dental aesthetics, prosthetics and periodontal treatments. He is currently an "Expert Presenter" for Dental XP.com, one of the largest educational platforms in the world. He also supports courses and presentations both in Romania and abroad.

Soft tissue management around dental implants is mandatory, either by grafting, or by conditioning the existing architecture. The long lasting results which we all desire cannot be achieved, if the soft tissue quality is not improved and mantained. During this lecture, Dr. Cafadaru will discuss some critical aspects regarding the peri-implant soft tissue.

Dr. Costin Timofte graduated UMF “Victor Babes” Timisoara in 2015. Since then he has been working at Confident Dental Clinic in Timisoara and he participated at many courses in country and abroad. His daily practice is focused on prosthodontics and aesthetic dentistry. He is a user of an intraoral scanner since 2017 and he participated in many trainings focused on guided surgery and digital dentistry.

Tissue level implants ensure a transition from tooth loss to prosthetic restoration that mimics the natural one. Dr. Timofte will discuss the biological aspects of these types of implants and why they represent the ideal solution especially in the aesthetic area.
