Implementation of Digitalization in Defense Higher Education - DDHE

During 9-10th November, two teachers represented the Romanian Air Force Academy 🇷🇴 at the 15th International Conference on Interactive Mobile, Technologies and Learning (IMCL 2023 https://facebook.com/events/s/imcl2023/1254839481783646/ ) Thessaloniki, Greece🇬🇷.
During the conference, results from AR research of the international project ( https://www.facebook.com/DDHE.ERASMUS ) funded Erasmus+🇪🇺 were disseminated. 🤩

On Thursday, March 30th, 2023, the "Implementation of Digitalization in Defense Higher Education" project culminated in its 3rd multiplier event, held at the Henri Coanda Air Force Academy Auditorium. This project was carried out within KA226 of Strategic Partnerships of the Erasmus+ Program. One of the primary objectives of the project was to incorporate augmented reality into the learning process at military higher education institutions, thereby familiarizing future officers with their potential work environment. During the event, each partner academy representative was given the opportunity to showcase their vision and contribution to the project. The Air Force Academy, under the coordination of Assoc. Prof. Ecaterina Liliana Miron, initiated and led the project, and collaborated with the following universities as partners: Vasil Levski National Military University from Bulgaria, Hellenic Air Force Academy from Greece, and War Studies University from Poland.

On March 30th, 2023, the "Henri Coanda" Air Force Academy will host the final presentation of the "Implementation of Digitalization in Defense Higher Education" project. The event will showcase innovative solutions for using mixed reality in education, presented by experts and practitioners from national and international universities collaborating with the academy. Attendees will include both faculty and students, eager to explore the cutting-edge technologies that can transform the learning experience.

Prin Legea nr. 82 din 15 aprilie 2021, Parlamentul României a instituit ziua de 10 ianuarie ca Zi a matematicii, informaticii și științelor naturii. Data de zece ianuarie nu a fost aleasă întâmplător. La această dată, în 1906, s-a născut academicianul Grigore C. Moisil, matematician recunoscut pe plan mondial, părintele informaticii românești. In Academia Forțelor Aeriene „Henri Coandă”, această zi a fost marcată printr-o dezbatere inițiată și moderată de col. conf univ. dr. Laurian Gherman. Au fost susținute două prelegeri, „Matematica sau ascultarea poetică a naturii”, prin intermediul căreia Col. prof. univ. dr. Adrian Lesenciuc a facut o pledoarie pentru cunoașterea enciclopedică și pentru înțelegerea rolului întemeietor al matematicii ca ordonatoare a cunoașterii, respectiv „Când știința se naște mai greu decât legea. Aventura cunoașterii în Paradigma Moisil”, prin intermediul căreia lector univ. dr. Gheorghe Radu, fost cadru didactic în Academia Forțelor Aeriene, fost student al academicianului Moisil și unul dintre inițiatorii Legii 82, l-a omagiat pe fostul său profesor și a descris parcursul ideii până a devenit lege. A fost un prilej să ne aducem aminte de discursul unuia dintre cei mai semnificativi dintre studenții profesorului Moisil, academicianul Solomon Marcus, care a susținut în urmă cu opt ani o prelegere in fața studenților Academiei Forțelor Aeriene (publicată în volumul 7 al lucrării „Răni deschise”), să îi prezentăm cărțile existente în biblioteca academiei, dar și o serie de lucrări dedicate academicianului Grigore C. Moisil și istoriei informaticii românești. Nu au lipsit, din seria de lucrări prezentate, unele apărute în 2022 și dedicate unor încercări de sinteză a cunoașterii, reunind științele, artele, filosofia și, bineînțeles, matematica: Bogdan Suceava - Adâncul acestei calme creste. Programul de la Erlangen și poetica Jocului secund (Ed. Polirom), Mircea Arman - Eșecul gândirii calculatoare și reafirmarea metafizicii (Ed. Tribuna) și Mihai Nadin - Cumpăna științei. Viitorul contează (Ed. Spandugino).

2nd Multiplier event organized by our Greek partners 🇬🇷 together with project memebers 🇧🇬🇵🇱🇷🇴 enabled to develop our project and reach next golas. 🔝👏🏻🤝Intelectual results of our work were presented to wider audience. 👩🏻🧑🏼👨🏽👨🏼‍🦰
Thanks to meeting in Athens 🌍 we had a chance to exchange opinions 🗣🗣and experiences on developing courses designed with support of HoloLens Google 🥽 🤖!
We do it all for our students 👧🏻🧒🏼👶🏻 to make our study programs more attractive & interactive 👾
with Virtual and Agumented Reality possibilities! 😎🤓
